every word we've ever spoken in english
is just a new combination of 26 letters
the first thing we ever learned is how to
alphabetize in ascending order A-Z

and your name could be any other letter
and your initials have the possibilities
of 26!

and she is four nucleotides in different
combinations - we can count uracil and then
she'd come from an odd number of oxygenated and deoxygenated ribonucleic acids
probs misspelled something

All these numbers surround me
Forming ocean of trees too tall to climb
It's overwhelming thee, hear my plea
The wind chimes on by in just in time
Sweeps me down to save me from prime time
Set free from this heinous crime, my oh my
I cannot escape the variables, what I see in the sky
Once my ally, my sour cry can be heard nearby
Too many rules to apply and abide by, I want to die
I just defy as I pass by and pretend I'm not the bad guy
But I worry not, though I can't escape the leaves
A harsh storm will follow the autumn breeze
Wrote this while ****** doing my math homework... Idk if it makes sense

If the x-axis represented
the year we met, and
the y-axis represented
the year we stopped talking,
our point of intersection
would most likely be (14,15).
And sometimes, it seems so unfair.
Sometimes I wish
we were parallel lines, and
we never met in the first place.
Other times I wish
our lines coincided, and
we had an infinite number of solutions; an infinite amount of time
to know each other.
But our relationship is beautiful,
too, in it's own way.
We're two lines with
a plethora of things in common, and our lives got to cross
for just a small amount of time.
We got to find each other,
and then drift apart again.
But I'd rather have one point of intersection than none at all.
I'm not really sure if my graph makes very much sense but it's okay because I like the general gist of the poem. Please feel free to leave feedback in the comments below (-:

I wanted you to know,
how much you love me
you told me that
division by zero,
and that I have never done

I, a woman of letters, have been waiting for you, a man of numbers. I’ve been fantasizing of the day when you would deliver at the porch of my heart your algebraic equation. The x’s and y’s merged systematically with all the symbols, forming an indelibly inked pattern that would finally make sense. I have been waiting and hoping and praying, but all I’ve got so far are your invalid equations, the confusion, the uncertainties, the unsolvable mathematical sentence that I want so desperately unscrambled. How can you not, in your genius, find the right equation, even as I now try to draft a coherent verse?

one, two, three, four
those are the first number we learn when we walk out the door
one plus one ends up obscene
the second thing we learn about as teens
minus one, add three
on your boy you weren't so keen
start at zero
life's anew
since it is just me and you
divide by one
you splinter off
maybe for a time you become so lost
that one two three
don't make sense anymore
how could little numbers
keep your soul from the downpour?
well, you think, toss
the primer away
I'm not so keen on maths anyway
math life
I'm sitting down, so why am I sweating?
A constant cycle of your reminding, and me forgetting.
I need to lie down. My mind is heavy in my skull.
Your mouth is moving, but my eardrums are full.
Petty thoughts take a substantial grip on my heart.
Can we just go again, perhaps take it from the start.

you play God
  manipulating variables
     eliminating constants
making a mess of simple equations

paper floods with ink
-mistakes that will eventually lead to a solution
but it's the journey that matters,
                                                         right?
the reminder of why you hate math...
*it makes too much sense to comprehend
Just an equation,
A Simple theorem.
A little misbehaviour,
Outside the decorum.
.
I add and provide,
Hoping we never divide.
At the geometry, I stare
Just a mindfuck of a square.
.
A slight cross multiplication,
To bond upon this attraction.
To help develop the postulates.
Of your mere subtraction.
.
I integrate & derive,
It's the formulae I'm deprived
Of. The questions always lead to me and you.
I always end up in my four sided cube.
- Aks, in math classes.
I need to stop doing math.

life is like a sinusoidal graph
curving up and curving down
over and over again and never stopping

sometimes we feel higher than the sun
and everything is going great
then a few days or weeks or months later it all comes crashing down again

right now im on the downward curve preparing for what is to come
but i know that things will be okay again
but all this up and down makes my stomach do flips
i know it's cliché but life really is like a roller coaster you can't get off
curving up and curving down again
and never stopping
life is rough
