I used to be thunderous
In all ears and a roar
But now I'm like lighting instead
And when I strike
There is only a sudden flash of light
As a stroke of fire appears before
Instantly born
Where the static clouds meet the metal earth
I am timing incumbet, electric incarnate
And as my will touches down
My foes are torn
I mean, I'm still loud some days. But I'm older now, a little wiser, and I've learned how to pick my moments of  exertion.

A storm brews inside of her.
Winds of the past ruffle her hair.
Waves of darkness crash in her eyes.
Thunder echos as her heart beats.
Lighting flashes when she breaths.

She is power.
She is a force.
She is uncontrollable.
She is beautiful.
She is unique.

But all of that power,
all of that force.
Is it to much?
Can she bear the burden?

She falls.
The weight of it too much to withstand.
She breaths.
She stands,
and she lets the world know that the worst is yet to come.
Let the world know you are a force to be reckoned with and that you wont back down.

the sun yearns to hide
thunders request to be heard
darkness wishes to be seen
lightning longs to impress
coldness hopes to be felt
hope yearns to rise
emotions want to overflow
the sky desires to cry
I demand for rain
let it rain

A Thunderstorm is brewing,
the likes I've never seen;
It's headed in my direction,
coming straight towards me.
~
It will be most deafening,
how will I stand the sound;
As my flimsy house of plastic cards,
goes crumbling to the ground.
~
I can not stop its' furry,
and it's much to late to run;
So I'll face the roaring Thunder,
and Clouds that block the Sun.
~
A product of my past,
and the pain I've held inside;
It's building up too quickly,
and I've nowhere to hide.
~
So I'll wait the lightning out,
prepared to face that day;
When I must tell the truth,
hoping I'll know what to say.
An explosive temper, her husband doesn't like for her to have an opinion.  She doesn't talk to him, for this reason.  She knows she must tell him how unhappy she is, she's just not ready to do that just yet.  She fears him.
they say the oceans blue but its black right now
in the dark, on the sand, looking out at the clouds

depression and drowning screaming out their full parts
lightning reveals where the ocean stops and the sky starts

and a random strike of light reminds me of what is true
but right now the oceans black and the sky is too

you can’t stop the rain from falling
you can’t stop a lightning strike.
i could not stop you from leaving
without even saying goodbye.
