mankind is but a speck of sand
yet we are blind
to our insignificance
for we are only
what we know

when we think
we are separate from
the world around us
pain finds its way in

on one ordinary night,
i sank into death’s realm
in all its bitterness and defeat
powerless in its consuming grip
my mind buried alive
in an everlasting nightmare
deeply personal and exposed
but that dark moment
steered me on a truer path
decorated with love and creation
leading to a dawn of knowledge

maybe, we should all
have a taste of death
the world might be
a better place

for once
i protected myself
and it hurt like hell
sharper than any
knife in the shelf
only to realize later
sometimes we bleed
for the right reasons
sometimes a scar
leaves us lessons
only hurting
leads to healing
maybe it's time
to feel more

He makes me feel at home;
Those warm arms wrapped around my frail body.
The heat radiating off your chest.
The sweet fragrance of vanilla surround us.
The sound of your laughter ringing in my ears.
Your smile is worth everything in this moment.
My heart pounding fast.
This is what I want my forever to feel like.

Yet I know it won’t last.
We’re young.
You’ll forget my name as soon as I leave.

No regrets were made,
Only lessons.

...fell down and shattered into a gadzillion pieces.

It was an accident.
It was fate.
It was moment of weakness.
It was meant to be.

It was a gadzillion pieces of
broken words,
unkept promises,
unspoken hopes.

It was a gadzillion
drops of tears,
gusts of emotions,
jigsawed thoughts.

All those pieces swept into the wind,
spread across sand and sea,
whispered under every breath
and buried... buried.

They unfold and twist,
collide and explode.
Pressurized and purified,
proven true, it

lands back to the very heart of where it started--
with You.

what is the meaning of life?
whatever you want it to be
it is your life after all

how dismal it would be
if the meaning of life
was one size fits all
