Is this why you want to know
So you can talk about it
When you have nothing better to do
Why do I even doubt it.

With gleaming eyes to explore
Is this why you're so keen
Hearing each word out of my mouth
But have no clue of what I mean.

I understand your taste for meat
But is your thirst for blood so cheap?
Your hunt so deep?
Your drop so steep?
So absent is your love for me?
You'd feast on your own family?

Robert told Olive
And Olive told Dee
That Emma likes Peter
But Peter likes me.

And Stephen saw Jamie
Tell Anna and George
That Vicky kissed Edward
And Clarence kissed Maude.

But Peter told Edward
And Edward told me
That Vicky saw Stephen
Tell Clarence and Dee

That Robert kissed Emma
So Anna told George
That Olive likes Jamie
But Jamie likes Maude
A nonsense poem. Enjoy! :)

Darkness decends
and the people howled
as they each came out of their caves
Resting underneath the moon
The glow, our only flicker of light
Silence fills up empty spaces
Boredom sets
Strangers no longer
Every breath a welcoming company
Secrets begin to unfold
And when the power comes on, we're all back to our own devices, becoming strangers again lol

A chest, ornate and dark,
With gold lettering for the brand,
Holds the things that have been said about us without our knowledge.
One day we opened it, and realized that we'd rather have it filled with sea monsters than see it empty ever again,
And that was the day we were born.
It is better to be talked about and to exist without fear than to slip through life quietly.

He's a ****,
A deadly ***.
She is evil,
A skilled deceiver.
They're a cult,
The devil's salt.
But I'm most toxic,
I spread gossip.

What is love when it wears
the shoes of hate
sweater of judgment
accessories of gossip
pants of vengeance
and the coat of conditions?
Real love is naked
People are always sure about their opinions towards you
They will judge and say stuff’ about which they don’t have a clue
They’ll say your heart and your brain are wrong pair
You don’t belong here
Pack your filthiness and go
You should’ve die some long times ago
You’re really good before; but now you lack manner
They’ll try to tear you down; and burn-out the whole banner
Give you some whacky name; but all that did not matter
They are just a stepping stone; a ladder to help you step on the next ladder
I’m a new man now and I’ve edit all da flaws
The kid you order around doesn’t exist anymore
"The daily grind is so hard"
He whined
"Work and raising kids isn’t easy"
She opined
"Deirdre got your promotion"
He snitched
"I heard Dave got yours?"
She *******
"I hate this **** job"
He sighed
"So look for another"
She cried
"Maybe tomorrow"
He lied
"You'll do it one day"
She lied
“Stop tapping your foot”
He snapped
“Stop looking at her”
She flapped
"What's for tea?"
He assumed
"Why ask me?"
She fumed
"Can't believe it's only Monday"
He moaned
"If I hear that again..."
She intoned
"Shall we get a takeaway?"
He enlightened
"Oh, I love you"
She brightened
“Love you too”
He cooed
“Kisses to you”
She blew
"See you tonight, love"
He winked
"You will, my lover"
She pinked

Midday watercooler meeting
Frosty silence skin broken
Domestic warfare so fleeting
Morning car row forgotten
Like work-a-day sheep
At end of day meet, then
Takeaway, home, sleep
Up tomorrow, do it again

The couple who work, rest and play together...
