Know what you want
Know who u are, don’t u ever waste any time; little things like this will keep u by the finish line.
Time on this earth goes so fast, so quick, like when raindrops fall from the sky,
Love yourself immensely, and intensely
This will be your battle cry.
Hold your ground and find your purpose your dignity, morality, your hue;
This is the formula to living life anew.
Be kind, be courageous, and always understand
Life isn’t always given, and will never come as a demand/
Please, my dear child, believe me when I say;
Love will always be the hardest when not known when to walk away,
But love yourself, be yourself, have faith in you
This is the key for others to learn to love you too/
And at the end of the day
All the sorry in the world will never mend or keep,
The contempt you aim to feel when u lay down to sleep-
And please if they ask, don’t u ever dare,
Because hollowed out lovers are everywhere.

Today I broke up with my boyfriend and his heart again for the second time, but my reasons gave him purpose and my values gave him signs

day and night
my thoughts are running in circles around you

at the break of dawn
i recall every minute, every second, every breath, every touch
when the sun sets
my brain conjures new memories
intertwining the real and the imaginery
afraid of letting you go completely
scared i might forget
the pierce of your brown eyes, the intensity of your cologne mixed with the scent of a gin tonic, the food stain on your pink hoodie, the raspiness in your voice
when you told me you needed me too

i know you have left
but does that mean you are really gone?
feels like these words mean nothing
I loved your laugh
As much as I loved
The sound of the rain.
Now that you're gone,
All my love goes
With every raindrop
Falling on the ground.
But still...
Each and every fall of it
Echoes your laughter.

It is a vacant place now
this world didn't deserve you
you were incandescent in nature,
when all the lights went out.

The lies they told you
were designed to hold you
the wounds that never healed
you wouldn't speak of them;
you wore your camouflage daily
and I never understood,
how that smile was your tourniquet.

The last time that you kissed me
There was poison on your tongue
If you ever start to miss me
I hope you know
That I’m long gone
To the boy who is nowhere near worth dying for. I hope it tasted good going down.
One day I'd just be forgotten
By everyone and anyone I know
Deleted from all their minds
To never be thought of again
That is what I fear the most

On the shore I stand staring out
into the waves of pure wonderment
and the dark sullen sky, filled with stars
knowing that you were once one of them,
shining within the night sky
before being picked for a life here with me.

The people laughing and playing
oblivious to the absent feeling lying within.
Children enjoying the soft warm sand beneath their feet,
now you never will know such simple joys.
These are the days where I feel as fragile as a china doll
Knowing that I lost someone I never really had.

Looking out across the sea, how it stretches for miles
wishing you the peace and serenity this scene gives me.
Hoping you may get a second chance at life,
back up there among the stars where you can dream.
My little star, someone I never really had at all
but knowing what could have been I still look up to see you shining!

That.
That destroyed me. Destroyed myself at the core. Who she was, all she wanted, what she loved. Changed 10-fold.
