You've shared your body with others
Made false promises & empty wishes
I shouldn't look at you
She still wants you
Plotting and planning ways to crawl under silk sheets
With your muscular body lying on top
I shouldn't wish to see you
She still thinks about you
Wanting to know if you still want her
You're off limits
You can't be mine
But my mind still wonders about you
There are too many what-ifs
Constantly running through my mind like waves
I can only offer friendship
We are forbidden from each other
Everyone wants us apart
But the distance is drawing me to you
My guilty pleasure is that I want you
When your eyes run over my body
It excites something in me
The only solace is that you're away
The distance between our homes
Is my saving grace
Stopping me from doing anything reckless
'I cant you touch,' I tell myself
'You're not mine,' I remind myself
She still wants you
Plotting and planning ways to  crawl under your silk sheets
You aren't mine
So I must say goodbye.
This is a poem about two people who cannot be with each other because of common people in their lives. She wants to move forward with this guy but because of his past, she knows she cannot do anything.

You
I hope you realize that none of this matters
If you don’t see it

at this forbidden hour,
Cinderella has to be home,
yet her hands are gently being kissed
as her heart turns into a pumpkin,
ready to be patched in mid March,
she dances with a broken glass heel,
twirls the ticking clock,
making the hour golden.

A flawless image,
Voice with nothing to correct,
And practiced fingers.

Staying up too late
With only you on my mind
You make me happy.

My forbidden love
The one I will not forget—
One I never had.

Lips of an angel,
Ethereal eyes.
Her curls entangle,
The cause of my demise.

I long to be closer,
To know her mind.
Our fingertips whisper,
And our hearts abide.

We grab the forbidden fruit,
Temptations give in.
Let us taste and devour,
For tonight we sin.

I don't know much about you,
Handsome stranger,
And I shouldn't want to know you at all.

I love my lover, dear stranger.
You harbor no thought of me. And if such lust blooms,
I'm forced to wilt in guilt.

Adieu.

I'm risking so much
by touching
you.
But when our
lips meet
I don't fear
death anymore.
Hell with you would be my heaven.

You were the sun this cold heart is longing. You told me I became the moon who lights up even your darkest and gloomiest night.
