The promise of romance
Lingers through an eternal dance
A childhood adventure unfolded
Embroidered with the hope of happiness
Exiling the remains of sadness
With the passion of love
As fireflies flourish like fireworks
In the marine ocean that is the sky

The challenge is to create a poem using 10 randomly selected words:

I fear the day I cease to breathe
The retraction of the unholy
In its nauseating trance
That I am entangled in its captivation
The serenity of the raindrops clouding
As they flounder amongst the field
Protruding the fellow's dance

The day my essence vanishes
Dissipates to naught when I am caught
By the claws of angels that soar the sky
The dazzle of their improbable happiness
Incapable of genuine light
Beyond the velvet marshmallow sky
They reflect a fabricated smile
For suffering merely is lifting its skirt

The challenge is to create a poem using 10 randomly selected words:

breathe dance dazzle essence fear incapable marshmallow raindrops skirt smile
We toil all day
In the heat of the sun
Just for the night
For life's true fun

Dancing across
Meadows with glee
The cornfields whisper
"Sing to me"

So sing I do
Loud and clear
My voice proudly ringing
For nature to hear

The birds hear me
The crickets too
But I wish so hard
That the one who heard was you

I think back
To long summer nights
Dancing about
In the gentle moonlight

I miss you so
It's like a trance
Just longing
For one more dance

Barefoot in the meadows
Dancing quietly
Swaying side to side
Content that you're with me
I've come to realize that sometimes, the best time to sing and reflect is when nobody but nature is with you

When the haze wears off and you come back to reality, your senses no longer heightened  return to the dull.
And you look at yourself like who am I now that I was not before?
Return to the haze where everything felt OK
kiss the sky
dance with the breeze
write poetry
feel everything that the “normal” you can not see
Live,love and get lost
be wild
Be free
lost in the haze

we ditched the dance at the high school
and went to have our own fun
while everyone was dancing like a fool
you had me grinning like one
we always manage to have fun on our own

Not too old to dance
Not too big to rumba
Not passing up the chance
To feel a little younger

Learning brand new steps
Hearing brand new beats
Sensing strange new rhythms
Finding both my feet

Using unused muscles
Controlling my meander
Feeling a new freedom
To release the inner dancer

Old friends say they knew
The dancer sleeping there
They recognised the steps
From long forgotten years

So whilst I can't regret
The years I waltzed around
I'm pleased to take these steps
And retake my long lost ground.
Change is like learning a new dance.  After a while you start to enjoy it.  But initially you feel all arms and legs.
