There she sat for unending days
A vacant mournful mold
A radiant beauty in my eyes
With a story left untold

She grasped moments that she viewed
Of children playing outside
While she sat inside her only friend
The wheelchair she occupied

She longed to be a part of
Everything that she was seeing
To run and dance with others
Was just an image of her being

She was gorgeous to say the least
An Angel ~ ~ in despair
That needed a chance to journey
Somewhere other than her chair

Introduced as just a "Smile”
Soon graduating to a "friend”
I was the recipient of her troubles
My heart was genuine

I desired to help her just as much
As her desire to be free
I told her that she soon would dance
Embraced by the arms of me

She blushed and shrugged at the thought
Knowing this could never be
For her legs were limp and tiny
A feature through destiny

I told her not to reject so fast
That there are many forms of dance
That angels get by with just their wings
So, she surely stood a chance

I lowered myself down to her chair
My arms enwrapped her waist
Raising her to my level
Where freedom was embraced

She was an angel ~now in flight
As my two feet, carried four
We rejoiced in every movement
That we danced across the floor

Like leaves blowing across the ground
We bounced, we meshed, we swayed
We both fulfilled a heartfelt desire
As our bodies entwined that day

She now was the view of envious eyes
A display of rhythmic light
Captivating her many admirers
By her illuminating sight

For I, she was what I always knew
Exquisiteness on reserve
Not shelled by grief no more
A beauty has emerged

Change me into a snowflake,
Dancing lightly in the wind!
Change me into a snowflake,
Thro’ the misty air I’ll spin!

How exquisite and fluffy,
Soft and delicate it is!
Does no one e’er feel pity
To see it flat aft its bliss?

White and fluffy, soft and light;
I will watch you forever –
I’ll dance with you thro’ the night!
And love you as my sister.

Let me dance with you tonight,
Tho’ I’ll be dead hereafter;
Kiss me, I will take the flight,
Little snowflake forever!

It's like the first day
It's like the first night

It's like the first ray
When we light the first light

It's in the worst way
But it's worse when it won't work right

But babe if it's today
I'll be there for you tonight

Your caresses is a flower, the kisses a fragrance.
Your love is the plant of my sun-kissed dreams.
The reason I say sun and not moon is because
your warm actions take me to a world of bliss.
Where the loveliest grass thrive near and far,
the sweetest of fleurs are everlasting.
As well as my fortunes.
Please, adorn my black crown with another made
of wildflowers.
Take my hand, then a breath and let us dance in
light.
Make me see only the flowers, never the weeds.
Short poem from my journal

the rush of the music blaring from the speakers
waves traveling through the air and down my spine
giving me goose bumps as the build of the sound intensifies
feeling it inside me
hold my breath for just a second
releasing into a pure joyous dance
my body in sync with the rhythm of the beat
peace of mind within harmony
music is another art I indulge in next to writing.

How about we turn implicit to simplistic?
A small sudden change in our pas de deux.
It’s French. An elegant step of two,
Though we almost ended up wearing the same shoes…
Folie a deux. Madness of two.
Our madness, as our hearts beat in tune.
Tik tok. Tik tok. Like a clock.
Counting the time to our starting off.
Tu me rends fou. You drive me insane.
You make me want to jump, swim or scream your name!
Let’s dance, my L' amour! In the moonlight like gods,
Beethoven’s sonata, performed by Euterpe,
The muse of music and arts! Just for us, the Olympian gods.
Tik tok. Tik tok. My heart is about to stop.
A day? A month? A year or two…
I will not stop loving you.
My dear, my love, my sweet un copain,
I love you, I treasure you, please drive me insane.
Let the grandfather clock, stop the passing of time!
I want you forever, handsome, young knight...
My love, my fire,
That will burn away the night.
Let’s dance! Again. Let me feel you close once more.
Performing our twirls, never dreaming of a stop.
For someone I love <3

dancing in a round about kind of way
spinning one direction
yet ending up nowhere
‎transported into a haze like state
‎swan lake encouraging my peaceful
   ‎ break

twisting again and again
‎never ending

just what i needed
a storm through my room.
my clothes
on different parts of the floor.
it was a mess before you rolled through.

she dances
sober
and smiles when she does it too.
its really a sight to see.
