The right person is worth the wait.
Worth the near misses, the 'almosts', the delays.
Worth the struggles, worth the pain.
Worth all the tears on your face.

The right person is worth all the rejects.
All the mockery, insults and jests.
The right person is worth it, whatever it takes.
Worth it, no matter how short the stay

The right person is the one.
The one you've always dreamt of,
For so long.
The one to calm all the storms
The one to overlook all your faults.

The one to bring your sadness,
To an end.
Give you joy, give you happiness.
Give you peace for all the days you have left.
Staying with you, till the very end.

The right person is the one.
The one that would make you forget.
The right person is the one.
That would be worth it, in the end.

I think she's over you
Whether or not it leaves you black and blue
She's returning the favor
She's just doing the same to you
So listen here's what she'll do
She'll listen to you talk
As she crosses her heart
Never to be with you again
You left her hanging there
Her hands cold and bare
Stomach all in knots
She stared as you walked away
With another lovers hand in yours
As the rain poured
Now you're back for more
There won't be anymore tears for her to pour
Over you
I guess you can understand
When her heart is empty
There used to be plenty of love in there
You left her watching
You and someone else
Hand in hand
I think she's over you
What else is she supposed to do?
She won't be crawling back
Anymore
Like she used to do
This is what you made her do
Heartless yet kind
This will forever
Stain her mind
She'll never trust as easily as she once did again
She's left looking back on where it began
And where it all was to end
I think she's mostly over you
Still may cry some tears
But what else is she supposed to do?
You gave her so much to remember
This isn't over
She won
I won
Now just press send.

Together. . .*

Look into my eyes, What do you see?
Happiness unbridled, joy that can fill all the seas.
It doesn't have to be pretty.
It doesn't have to be beautiful
All that matters is that we're happy,
And that we are joyful.

It doesn't have to be glamorous.
Nor does it have to be a spectacle.
All that matters is that I'm yours.
And together we will pull through.
Never doubt these words, not a single bit.
Cause Baby with you at my side, the world is at our feet.

At the end of the day,
All that matters is the smile on your face,
The fruits that we've made,
And the promise, of your stay.

She'll be with him longer
Than I was
She'll give him better memories
With a hand to hold
I wasn't good enough
Not the perfect girl
and I can't
bear that

I hope wherever you wander,
you find a piece of me
just like wherever I wander,
I find a piece of you.

What happened to us? Was it my mistake?

So close we were just a few months before,
and look at what we’ve become now.
We said that we would never change,
together we promised to stay, always.

What happened to us? Was it my mistake?

Loads of ego there is in both of us;
not ready to bend, either of us.
Days pass by and I still wait for you to call;
I wonder, “Do you wait for me too?”

What happened to us? Was it my mistake?

People ask me about you, how you’ve been;
“We don’t talk anymore,” is all I say.
For what else can I say now?
Is there even anything left of us?

What happened to us? Was it my mistake?

Anything I’d do now to get back
again; what we once had.
Everything we’ve been through
still makes me wonder-

What happened to us? Was it my mistake?

She didn’t ask for jewels or clothes.
She didn’t ask for anything you could find in a store.

She only asked that I come back to her
&
that I bring with me a single leaf.

That is how Central Park
turned into a desert
and I,
the mad fool
picking through the grains of sand.

We could talk about everything,
laugh about nothing
and turn any day
into an adventure.

It wasn’t only that she was pretty
or smart
or felt like a part of me.

It was that she could give me something that I had hardly ever found before.

She could **** my mind in the most beautiful of ways
and make me ***
these ****** thoughts of mine.
She challenges my world view
how beautiful is that?

Tearing turns to torn
as passion and pain
ebb into remorse.

I wish I could come,
and come undone,
within you forevermore.
I feel sorry for the ones that came before me.
