Many colors
Many shades
Morning and night
More colors than day
Daytime rays break through
The giant cotton *****
Hidding the light
But pop with color
The light falls
Striking the highest points
Nightime comes
and the light goes
and many smaller lights appear

you
you are the gentle sunshine
the million little dust motes
that drift in through my window
in the wee hours of morning

you are the fluffy white clouds
that appear in the heavens
like an old friend popping in
joyfully, out of the blue

you are the bold brilliant moon
the endless amount of stars
in the night sky as I stroll
and think of our adventures

you are the cold winter wind
that lightly caress my cheeks
when I retreat to my bed
revelling in thoughts of us
you are my sunshine.
you are my everything.

Saw your face in the sky!
It's like you started to fly!
Stars made your eyes!
Eyebrows as the bird flies!
Half-moon made ya smile!
Oh it's been a while!
I am searching you everywhere!
God It's not so Fair!
I am finding you please show up!
playing hide and seek? please grow up!
I am so frustrated looking for you!
It's like the thousandth avenue!

That blue cloud I used to stare at, Poured on me all day.

I have a smile so wide,
And a tingling feeling in my gut.

Will it last forever,
or I won't see it again.

It's hard to feel sad
when the sun shines in rays,
persistent as a mother,
and just as sweet and caring.

Green, microscopic leaves
flutter like the wings of fairies.
If cleanliness is next to godliness,
I feel like I'm in the clouds.

Dear Summer,

Where are you?
I know you have barely begun
But I cannot see you
All I can see is white clouds all the way to the horizon
Not even a patch of blue sky
Among all the endless grey
It seems that ’dull white’
has quickly become the only time of day
other than night
Where are you?

imagine:

a night colored ocean
vast
white clouds, floating above.
casting shadows along the jagged, watery surface.
or perhaps
they are the silhouettes
of beasts
leviathans beneath the surface
with water filtering through their jagged teeth,
scales as sharp as needles.
or maybe
there are just clouds.
soft tufts of water
above a jagged
midnight
sea.
Inspired by a passage of a book I read.
