Lunar Luvnotes Apr 2016
I get high off watching the sun rise, it reminds me that I'm still alive, waiting at dawn to stake my claim in today. I am the mainstay of constancy, of evolution, the leopard lurking in darkness, pawing stealthily past moonlight. My strength magnified in magnolias, my ability to break open in silence, my willing fragility exempts me from the need to fall to pieces. I cuddle up to the command of now, wrapping it around my will like I wrap my tongue around the notes of its song, like silks looping around my present, to my world, my fullest attentions, my richest intention, my ultimate salvation. My lineage sings survival of the fittest. Our rigorous love of self, of others, is the ticket, the tributaries to the endless river within us, bridged by the calls of cardinals, flitting from pine to sky, rescinding all the litter of Earth's surface to drift off into varying existences.. I am awake.
Posted to my instagram: lunar_luvnotes this morning. Of my series "i LUV me," a series that highlights God's love as the basis for self love and unconditional love of mankind.

"Outside the city where the pomegranates grow..."
In solitude, my soul bloomed alone,
A spiritual journey I pondered on,
For the world, I saw a giant pond,
I prayed for blessings, with a magic wand,
Deliverance from our virtual Armageddon,
From then on, I was not alone,
Collective blessings bloomed at home,
Outside the city where the pomegranates grow,
In solitude, my soul bloomed alone.........
Feedback welcome.

Intrusive noises in between moments
Crazy voices overwhelming me
Once, twice, thrice
I'm losing control of what has been

Bidding farewell to tears at night
Greeting tasteful smiles
The touch of your gentle palms
Once too many times

Whispers of endearing love
Images that takes me to space
Your hand in mine
Something I never want to give away

Savouring every moment
Every touch, every skip of the heartbeat
Your sweet words alone
Could counter all the nasty things

Hold me close
Let your smooth scent engulf me
And take my breath away

Let us embrace this
This everlasting
comforting
little space

Hello you
My gentle *muse

I miss you

Each day a new sliver of the moon
Sends messages how to live without you..
Circle without Friendship,
Gilgal

I came blessing
Happy for a connection with Life
Unexpected  Mystery...
I fell in Love
For the very first time

Radiance of Possibility
I Love you Still

Not once have you asked anything of me
And for that
Is All, Freely Given
My Best.. The Myrh  and Frankencese of my Life

A Kiss
The meaning of the universe
Smile
Friendship with a voice never known before

I SEE You in this Still
Love of Ever Welcome

We don't take the time to appreciate what we have until it's gone. Count your blessings. Take nothing for granted.
Mark Lecuona Mar 2016
You said I should count my blessings
That my life was good enough
I have my health
But I want more
There is nothing to live for
If you only live to breathe

It’s not right that others must cry
That life is so hard
For them
And their children
Who could put the misery inside them
If not the one who could conceive

I watched her wish upon a prayer
I became ashamed
I was so angry
Yet she calmed me
I was finally able to see
She knew which words to believe

An idea hit me like a tornado....
If I were a superhero,
I guess I'd be like Robin Hood,
Always aiming to do good,
I'd grant everyone their wish,
Hand them blessings on a golden dish,
Health, wealth and happiness,
Grant the world a superhero bless,
I see wrongs and wish they were rights,
It's the world, won't get uptight,
This idea hit me like a  tornado,
Oh, if only I were a superhero.

Oh, 'twas the fierce love I once detested.
Crying out "why" from my corner of land.
It was the capacity to perform I once loved,
keeping me from my promised land.
There's a settling in on the horizon,
a shifting of views.
What I once saw as curse,
I now see as brand new.
A blessing from the Heaven
of the Lord our God.
For what I thought I needed,
He gave not.
truthfully, I will love every part of me.

To you grandma,
Centuries bear me witness
For I have held mother with honor.
With words of love
That envy doves
As they fly above.
Words of praise
That made the sun question its' purpose for the rise.

I honor mother with words of love and praise,
And this is to you grandma,
Your are a mother too.
You mothered mother, my mother.
So let this come out boldly.
Morning sunshine,
You should be ashamed of yourself.
Have you talked to grandma?
Remember when you needed to smile
And sweet grandma provided the reason to?
Birds singing,
Don’t make a fool of yourselves.
Remember when you needed a tune
And sweet grandma provided with a fortune?
Butterflies waking, spreading wings so expanse,
You look so ridiculous.
Is that how sweet grandma taught you to?
I beseech the wind today.
Whichever direction you are taking,
Recall when you needed a sense of direction and ran to her.
Flowers happy about,
Are you blind?

Dear Mother,
It is me your son. I am writing to you on a note that I know based on my knowledge gathered from this never ending walk in this forest of books and experience.
To thank the lord above.
To thank the lord below
The lord on the sides
The lord within you.
Happy Women’s day grandma
Happy women’s day mother.
This is my way of celebrating and playing with words. Painting them with colors of the rainbow.
You are but rainbows in so many lives
Oh Mother…..Oh! Mother of mine.
How bright is the light?
Flowing from you
Like star rays in all ways.
Grace, show your face today
If you aren’t ashamed.
Let us see you and Mom.
Quick words, quick words quick words of light.
Might we compare your actions to the lilies in the valleys?
So your son comes to the conclusion of this letter. I still have my pen and paper.
Happy women’s day to you.
Abundance of peace and Love always.
