There's something special about someone
you can lie awake in bed with all day,
Seeing you with your knotted hair and morning face
and still thinking you're someone worth kissing.

You can find it in the way they lie in any position at all
as long as it's wrapped around your body,
The way that they ignore every responsibility they'd said was so important
because laughing with you, your face buried in their neck,
is the single thing that surpasses everything else the world demands of them.

You’ve each held others before, the same way.
Limbs intertwined as many ways as can be found,
touching as much of their skin with yours as your shapes will allow.
You've explored the unknown inches of someone's body and
felt the chill down your spine when they did the same.
You’ve held others before,
but that doesn’t make it any less spectacular.

His legs feel different against yours than any you’ve felt before.
His lips are a new taste, a new shape,
a new, original kind of magic.
He makes different sounds as he falls asleep
and sometimes he narrates his dreams.

His face takes a different shape when he’s about to kiss you,
and a different shape yet when he only wishes he could.

His hands find new resting places on your frame
separate from those anyone else has discovered
and he’s found new words, still, to send
fluttering into the pit of your stomach
and color your cheeks a shade
that you pray he can’t see in the dark.

There’s something special about someone
you can lie in bed with at night,
Listening to your stories that never come out right,
if they ever come out at all,
and still trying to convince you that
you’ve got something worthwhile to say.

There’s something special about someone
who holds potential to make you feel a new feeling.
Whose mystery still intrigues you
and whose company still satisfies you,
Whose stories you still care to hear
and whose lips are still an enticing thought.

And he’s clearly insane,
But you’re really happy that
with your knotted hair and morning face,

**he still thinks you’re someone worth kissing.

Would nectar be as sweet, if bees did not adore it?
From miles away it’s intoxicating smell, alluring them
Waiting to be ******, as the flower can’t bear the load
One drop contains all the sweetness of nature
Immortalized as the elixir of life, since time immemorial
If it was not for the bees, we would have been deprived
Of that drop of sweetness, that can match the lover’s delight
Making this world a sweeter place, dripping from flowers
Honey, here I come with the magic potion
Enjoying every drop of it, as we adore it, as much as the bees*

The way you look at me sometimes
Often sweeps my mind away
Only leaving images of your beauty
To help my mind pass the time of day

The look which I see upon your face
Needs not words to let me know
What your look does express so vividly
For only my heart understands it so

This day has learned to decipher
All the precious looks you send my way
No longer leaving me to ponder
Why you wanted me in your life to stay

As I receive the loving gaze you send my way
Which becomes the best part of my day
I find myself eagerly waiting to return
A look of love to you in that same special way
A captivating love....

It has been ages since eyes have fallen upon this place
Walls, once hard and cold, enveloping like a warm blanket
Soaked in intoxicating aromas
Enticed by the softness, the stillness
The slightest shift is alluring
No voice to be heard over the racing pulse of time
A deep breath and a sigh speak volumes
In silence and darkness it is left forlorn, desolate, and longing once again

The fire in my heart never seems to dim
Nor does the sparkle in your eyes go away
Neither will its radiance ever find itself replaced
By the sunshine which finds my face each day

So soothing are my dreams of your caring heart
When you leave for work going away from me
Yet, your image completely floods my mind today
As your smiling face is the only thing I now see

I feel your heart's loves call as you think of me
As each moment passes I also dream of you
Because I feel it’s alive within each breath I take
While my heart slowly sings a love-song so true

And the truest treasure I have in my life
Can only be found alive each day in you,
As the most beautiful display of love in my day
Is found alive in everything you always do

And within my heart one will surely find
A soothing fire which never seems to die
For its always fed each moment which passes
By the alluring sparkle found in your eyes
A poem praising love
