I want your touch
I want your hands to discover every inch of my body so I can feel electric. Because your fingers spark my skin, if you touched my entire body I would be on fire

I want you to be brave
So that when you hold me, the fire will not make you feel afraid. After all it's you who caused it. They say you can not make fire feel afraid but if you don't hold me I'll know what fear feels like

I want you to choose
Me or her. Me or her. Me or her. If there was ever a choice to make, pick her. I don't want you to spend the rest of your life wondering if I was who you wanted

I want you to want me
But baby I won't wait forever
To that boy who comes into my life right when I'm almost over him
you told me you could see lifetimes in my eyes
you told me my fingers painted galaxies on your skin
you told me we would be okay
so now what am i supposed to believe?
the moon weeps for us
the stars look down in sorrow
they have lost their shine
the same ones we danced beneath
now mourn our demise
the same ones we laughed up to
and told secrets to
and whispered cotton candy promises to
now do not believe in love.
the galaxies i once painted on your skin
call us liars
I've never loved you more than when you were hers.
When the tide swept in to steal my best friend
When the frost bit deep in my core
While you made love to a *****.
I never wanted to loose you
But you couldn't beg me to stay

So I rode the fence
Held you at arms length
But all the money in the world
Couldn't keep you away
Till the mirror on the wall
Told you who was the fairest of all
And it wasn't me.
Two days I sat
Talking with Death
I told him I loved him
He called me his Beth
I wanted his love.
All for naught.
He made me his queen
Now here I rot.
I thought he loved me
It turns out
He just wanted to get out
Out of his role, I sold my soul
To the man that brought me into this world.
Nearly empty I feel
When I lay here.
All my emotions start to fade away.
And when my vision gets blurry
And the tears stream down my face
That’s when I know.

Maybe if you’d stayed
I wouldn’t feel this way
Maybe if you called
Things wouldn’t have changed.

And as I lay here
The tears fall into the soil
And the ground soaks up
The last of my feelings

And when I leave,
I leave empty.
//thanks for leaving, i won't miss you\\
----

i'll hum to you
a melody
i'll sing to you
a song
that pain will cease
you will find peace
i hope you
sing along

children listen to me
poets please give ear
feel the pain
in this refrain
i hope that you will hear

there are ships
sailing the sky
don't you worry
question why
they drop stardust
where you lie
hear the
poet's lullaby

poets
keep on loving
for this is what
we do
we have dreams
we have schemes
to keep
that love renewed

poets
keep on living
be all that you can be
young or old
your tale's told
write it down
be free!

there's a ship
your muse is near
let her listen
let her hear
give your poetry
and tears
hold on to what
you hold most dear

yes, your ship is sailing
on a sea of ink
once again
you'll dip your pen
once again you'll think

but for now
you're weary
your eyes begin to close
feel the drift
into the rift
where ink

forever flows
