The shimmer of a Floodlight,
Marching to my Heartbeat,
Did I send you an Invite ?

An intriguing Character,
A leader one Moment,
Racing like a Competitor,
Underneath a loyal Servant.

Metamorphosis is your Forte,
A Giant bloating my Ego,
Or a worthless tiny Prey,
Teach me the art of Incognito.

At the break of Dawn,
An awareness Emerged,
A Shadow revealing a Truth Withdrawn,
Enlightenment is Light & Darkness, Merged.

Shadows are the representation of the other half of our lives - The Truth of Darkness.
We are sometimes leaders or competitors and many a times subservient to the demands of society. Our ego is heightened when we are victorious, and diminished during failure, but to possess the ability to suppress it, is a sign of true awareness.
While we seek the light within, it is only with acceptance of darkness, can we truly experience total happiness. Darkness in all its forms is a part of our lives and will continue to be the shadow to remind us of the need for acceptance.
You are the Light when you embrace the Darkness within.

I am a Mandala

An innocent Child
growing into a Man,
A journey of Evolution,
A natural Phenomena,
Physicality is a Mandala.

Emotions in Abundance,
Rising in Love,
Only to Fall,
A Mercurial Drama,
The Heart is a Mandala.

Choices to Baffle,
Time conquered Memories,
Sharpness of the Mind,
Like the sparkle in Cola,
Intellect is a Mandala.

A jar wrapped in Silk,
Holding the Fragments,
of a colorful Identity,
Disappearing into a Nebula,
FOR I AM A MANDALA

The Sand Mandala is a Tibetan Buddhist tradition of creating a design representing the cosmos. Once this beautiful design is created, it is dismantled to symbolize the ephemeral nature of our existence.

Nothing is permanent — whether it is the temporary nature of our physicality or the fickle nature of our heart and mind.

Live THIS Moment before it becomes History.

ICE

Pompously floating among every Liquid,
Cola, whiskey or an exorbitant Cocktail,
Forms multitude, plain to Sculpted,
Simpering secretly over water's Assail.

Slowly with the passing of Time,
As the temperatures Rise,
Losing its position of Prime,
Melting away in its own Design.

Arrogance is like ICE.
It can boost your ego for a short time until life hits back to drag you back to your real form. You are formless like water. Don't let your ego transform you, for it won't be long before you melt away.

BE HUMBLE.

Ibn Battuta

Flying high above the Clouds,
Rejoicing on stale airline Food,
Squirming between the Crowds,
Yet calm and elevated in Mood.

A tiny backpack, a Fearless Look,
Do I need anything More ?
To capture the world in merely a Scrapbook,
Leaving pains and worries to Ignore.

The first foot across the Border,
Another step closer to the mountain Peak,
The slipping sand between my Fingers,
Stopping time, is there a Technique ?

Cities, cultures and people Exceptional,
Surpassing labels the ignorant Creates,
Fear of the unknown almost Fictional,
Liberation is all I can Emanate.

I may not be wise as Buddha,
But I sure am on the path of Ibn Battuta.

Travel is the antidote to ignorance and fear
