Listen to the rhythm of your heartbeat
you might hear
the beat of my life
I beat a rhythm with your heartbeat

this little girl
has grown, you know.

not in a cute way, though.
she has grown
like a gross building, soon
abandoned, but never to be haunted.

this girl carries no mystery,
even with her eyes
she stares blankly like a puddle.

she still dreams about the sea sometimes.

this little girl
is still a little girl, only now
her body is inflated and
the pure thing is a bit spoiled.

this little girl has never been
fine anyway.
this little girl misses you,
says nothing more.

Earnest Eyes

Those earnest eyes.
They rest upon the breeze...
And set sail.
Bewildered much but yet unfazed.

So
they ride the currents,
in search of home.
Unsure but yet deliberate.

Only
to wash up
upon the shore of my gaze.
Seemingly beaten
but yet determined.

Then
they found
solace and comfort
in the eyes of another.
Unexpected but yet somewhat foretold.

I now know that
those earnest eyes....
Have committed to sharing one vision.
Even before setting sail.
With no other
than mine.

some doors shouldn't be opened, but humans have such a violent need to be loved,
so we break the locks and let the demons in

It's like a vampire, and one of those lord of the rings elf gave birth to her. She has beautiful pallid skin, ****** lips, aesthetic smile, and a angelic face. She's dressed in life, I wore deaths suit and tie. We're oppositions swimming in a paradox but
Love approved of us with blessings.
Will you stay with me?

Hands brush against each other,
But dare not intertwine.
Their owners fear persecution,
So instead they choose to hide.

Eyes sparkle under sunlight,
Wide smiles sprawl across faces,
Lips quiver in loving desire,
But kissing is dangerous in these places.

A man bestows his husband with a present,
As they sit within a restaurant booth,
But all he can do is smile,
So onlookers won't know his heart's truth.

Under party lights, their arms intertwine,
Their eyes meet, their lips kiss.
They are surrounded by others,
Who only now can engage in this bliss.

They are free from judgement,
Free from danger, hearts soaring,
Lives molding together, passion flowing,
Love crying into the air, it is roaring.

Gunfire erupts, bodies are falling,
Safe places have become unsafe.
It seems we can not love freely,
No, not even in this place.
Rest in peace.
