I.

Water glimmers across your untainted lips

Dripping, drips, dropped

While I wait patiently to kiss them,

The sun is setting over the horizon.

You watch as the sky's hue changes in color

Changing, changes, changed

And I watch you.

            II.

Close enough to touch your face,

But I yearn to feel your heart.

You turn and look me in the eye

            Searching, searches, searched

See me through my soul.

I am home

            With you my love

Sadness is weird for me.
It leaks from my biggest smile,
and from tears of laughter.
Sadness lingers with me in a hug,
and when I´m dancing.
It creeps into my mind when I'm alone
or the center of a party.
The urge to cry is there
I simply lack the tears.

Sadness is weird for me
It hides in the corner of my mind
to surprise me when I least expect it
But other times it prances around
waiving a flag as if to show me...
but I know, I feel it
I simply lack the tears

Sadness is weird for me
because it is numb
and yet I feel it so strong.
Because I smile,
even when I want to cry
I simply lack the tears.

My soul is brimmed with sin draped along grainy coasts,
My heart is thrilled by whisperings of ghosts dripping lust from their tongues,
My mind is a cramped shed of shadowed thoughts wandering inside my crisp burnt skull.

I pray for the world that we would be instruments of love and peace. That we would cultivate forgiveness and equality and strive to understand each other better so that we would be made more tolerant and less angry and afraid.

I pray for the nations of the world and their leaders that they have respect for you and for the many they lead. May they lead with wisdom, understanding, compassion and justice. I pray also that they lead with integrity and honesty.

I pray for our cities, towns, and communities that we would be good stewards of the gifts we have each been given to reach out and help those around us. Help us be generous and honest. Help us be leaders and role models for our children, grandchildren and all the youth who will one day do the same.

I pray for our families and friends, and for those who are hurting. I pray that you would be with them and heal them or give them the strength and courage necessary. Keep our families and friends close to you and may you be at the center of their relationships so that peace, love, and joy would prosper and their lives would flourish.

I pray for those who serve us and by whose service keep us safe and well. I pray for their safety Lord. Send your angels to guard and protect them and help us support and thank them however we can. Let their hands and feet and all they do be extensions of you. Bless them Lord, bless the little ones, the least ones and the last ones.

I pray for us Lord. Help us remain faithful and fixed on you. Don't give up on us: for we are broken, but we are also so strong. Be with us Lord and help us to live by your example and let us be a light for all to see.

Bless us all Lord that we may care for each other and in doing so, care also for you.

Amen

In between lives I've loved you, different parts of you each time, so now in this life we are living I've come to love you completely, without reserve, like putting all the pieces of a puzzle together, leaving me one beautiful something made with the tiny pieces of us.
          s.w. collins

Like any puzzle,
though -- overtime -- we lose the little pieces. And the whole picture that once was is now distorted.
Eventually, we leave the puzzle behind because the holes cannot be filled.
we are missing the things that used to hold us together            l.r.
In Ocean’s wide domains,
    Half buried in the sands,
Lie skeletons in chains,
    With shackled feet and hands.

Beyond the fall of dews,
    Deeper than plummet lies,
Float ships, with all their crews,
    No more to sink nor rise.

There the black Slave-ship swims,
    Freighted with human forms,
Whose fettered, fleshless limbs
    Are not the sport of storms.

These are the bones of Slaves;
    They gleam from the abyss;
They cry, from yawning waves,
    “We are the Witnesses!”

Within Earth’s wide domains
    Are markets for men’s lives;
Their necks are galled with chains,
    Their wrists are cramped with gyves.

Dead bodies, that the kite
    In deserts makes its prey;
Murders, that with affright
    Scare school-boys from their play!

All evil thoughts and deeds;
    Anger, and lust, and pride;
The foulest, rankest weeds,
    That choke Life’s groaning tide!

These are the woes of Slaves;
    They glare from the abyss;
They cry, from unknown graves,
    “We are the Witnesses!”

Walking with your rod in hand
Across this rocky ridged path
To get you your favorite fishing spot
Where you stay until it begins to get dark

When you try to stand up
You realize if to slippery to walk
But you need to cross it to get to your car
So you have no choice but to move on

Wishing you didn't come to this spot
The darker it gets the harder it is to walk
Then you come to this odd looking rock
You think you can cross it with out getting hurt

But when you do you slip and you **** lands on it's curve
You try to get up but cry in pain
You yell for your son to come help you as fast as he can
He runs over to you and grabs your hand

As he pulls you up with all his might
You've never let pain like this in all your life
You try your best to walk off these rocks
But in your head you want to push your self off

To drift in the sea and let the water take you away
But he keeps hold of your hand and forces you on you way
It takes 10 long minutes to get to the car
When you get in to the drivers seat you balling your eyes out

Since the fall it's gotten worse you back has now gone
You can barely walk a block with out your feet going numb
You now have a can to balance your self out
Your disliked are now all pushed out

You've tried every kind of treatment with out any success
And you have no idea what your going to do next
What you need is to get your back fixed up
Or soon you won't be able to walk at all
non fiction but a true story
