Did the sun forget to shine,
Down on this barren earth?
For I see none of that greener grass anywhere,
See no place with worth.

Did the rain forget to fall,
Down to pass through our drying lips?
For now our words come out like sandpaper,
Cutting each other to slits.

Did the stars forget to glow,
And fill the darkness with their light?
For we all walk around with empty dreams,
And there's no wishing happening at night.

Did the wind forget to whisper,
It's softly spoken melody?
For our hearts seem to have forgotten,
The feeling of it's silent beauty.

Oh, what happened to that life,
That danced inside our skin,
That made us want to laugh,
That made us want to live?
Living with a numbing
lack of feeling has me wondering
where the sensations have gone
what door I left the feelings behind
and what key in my mind
could possibly unlock it

I want to tell you stories
of how I dream to be great
encourage me to reach them
with you
in each passing days.
I want to hear you giggle
at my lame jokes
laugh on how corny they were
declare that I'm better in somewhere else
and that I should quit it
but I will still going to tell you more.
I want to cuddle you at night
whisper sweet nothings
until you fall asleep
in my arms
hear you snore
watch you in the dim light
watch you stay safe by my side.
I want to wake up next to you
the first thing I'm going to see as I open my eyes
was your taunting huge brown eyes
twinkling brighter than the morning star
the first thing I could touch
would be your porcelain skin
to prove to me
that the last night was not a dream.
I want to love you.
But each time I close my eyes
I see my hair in the sheets
tangled with amber strands
and yours are *jet black.

You're a million separate puzzle pieces.
Each a little different.
Some are a little plain.
Some are exceedingly detailed.
Some have sharp edges.
And some are softly curved.
But all together,
I know,
it's an extraordinary,
beautiful,
and priceless
picture.
Worth an entire life time,
solving.
Actually...possibly even longer.
We're all so complicated and unique in our creation. We all deserve someone who wants to piece together our whole picture.
You make me feel like a fool
You have me thinking I'm crazy
You **** me with your eyes and act like its nothing at all
You were never one to kiss and tell
But you tell me no and kiss me senseless
I don't know why I'm still here
Burning up and cooling down every time you hold my ear
Three times I love you
Three times no
Too many masqueraded intentions and submissions
If only you'd open up and let me know
Nothing matters more to me than the trust
The tryst was fun but the mystery is enough
Kiss and tell and hold my lips
No more talking, no more lies, I plead
Gift me this.
This poem is broader than you think
I want love like I've never had
Where it feels so good and hurts so bad
Long nights and long fights and we make up
Come hell or high water we won't break up

I want love like it used to be
The kind'll make me forget about me
Somehow my feet never touch the ground
And people wonder why I'm never around

I want love like a fairy tale
You know the old story fairly well
No matter what else we get into,
Love as one, can't be split in two

I want love that's just like me
Comfortable in my insanity
Take it easy as a rule of life-
I find that, and I'll make her my wife.
