Heaven rained on me,
I breathed in the petrichor,
Bathed in the downpour.
I have sinned,
So destroy me,
With your rain.

I've had enough loss

In this life and the next life

That has yet to come

In the cold, dark
        of January,
         I remembered
              you
        the most.
  As the chill
      snapped bones
              like branches,
     as the afternoons
   bathed themselves
in gray,
     as the birds
and the backs
      shook,
so did my lips
   around your name.
I'm so happy
     January is almost
over now.

yet the days stopped turning to night
ever stretching
everpresent
I just wanted the sky to fade

Night wrapped in silence
not a single soul in sight
but the wind's moaning
Poetry is magic
Suicide is tragic
Dolly Parton's face is plastic
Poetry is magic
what is magic, can be tragic, can be plastic

I’ve seen myself in the mirror.
it’s one thing to acknowledge your existence,
and another to question your place in the universe.

I sleep with the television turned on.
While I scream, it drones.
I don’t think I’ve watched a minute of it in the last three years though, I’m glued to my phone.
We’re glued to our phones.

I don’t yell much anymore.
Lack of living has beat the life out of me.
I’d worry about what any of this means, but being chemically inbalanced means I’m prospectively challenged.
So I don’t worry about it.

Maybe tomorrow will be different.

loving you was like
gulping the whole sun down my throat
in one go
of course i am burning now
Love is like fire which burns everything that come in its way
