In the endless night
With a smelly lamp,
With an empty head—
Struggling just to be ahead.

With a speaking ink,
With a tired face,
Struggling hard to win the race.

With an endless page,
With the sparkling hopes,
Struggling still to chase my goals.

With a happy morning,
With my sleepy eyes cry
Struggling to deal with my results saying,
Lol!! nice try.

Movements of Easter

Movement betrays intent
or reveals hearts’ content?
Resisting movement also reveals
how one’s mind heals.
The Spirit’s whisper
Illuminates Go(O)d’s lament
And more significantly, His magnificent intent.
Lent is the practice of sacrifice (going without) and remembrance. This year, I am giving up chocolate and will try to write a poem in my new “Lent Collection” each day. Enjoy!

I never heard of Tariff until recently

For those who liberate the caged bird,
They also liberate themselves.
Individuals who instigate conflict for,
Monetary benefits will ultimately undergo reformation in due course.
History often repeats itself many times,
Yet some individuals fail to heed their warnings.
The Great Wall of China was damaged by workers
As they were trying to make shortcuts to get to the other side.
The Trojan Horse was constructed with strategic thinking.
Similarly, the Berlin Wall was built as a barrier.

Today marks a competitive phase between
Temu and Shien are notable entities in the clothing industry.
It remains to be seen if they will address the challenges and opportunities within the sector effectively.
The term "Tariff" has become familiar to me over the past few months.
Shall we worry about them; shall we give in? Shall we seek solutions?
Only divine wisdom can guide us during challenging times.
For those who liberate the caged bird,
They also liberate themselves.

Raindrops kiss the earth,
he sits beneath the grey sky—
eyes still on the stars.

Clouds hide every light,
but he whispers to the dark,
“Maybe one will fall.”

Storms can’t shake his faith—
even meteors seem far,
but he waits, and waits.

The world says, “Give up.”
He only tightens his grip—
hope like fire inside.

Rain or stars above,
he believes in miracles—
even if they burn.

Men
We as men must never cry
Through storms of mourns
We silenced the child within
We mold our glass hearts thicker
To barricade what we feel inside

We as men must never cry
We grit our teeth we swallow the wit
Throb to surpass whatever that comes
To ignite the spark that dimmed the night

We as men must never cry
Despite the nest we found
Hope of walls of wars that we must break
To pierce through and prevail the truth

We as men must never cry
To succour the seeds of tomorrow
Let yesterday's pain be tainted
A reminder that we're still breathing

We as men must never cry
But when we do—
We can no longer hide behind curtain's facade
Let it be the rain that stains our hands,
Adolescence of innocence strayed of conscience,
As we dig through years of silence,
Wishing someone told us sooner

That real men are allowed to cry.

Shakespeare pondered names,
We are all given names at our birth;
Some are well-placed, others unknown and ill-fitted.
We spend our teenage years trying on new names, seeing if they fit, throwing them away when they don’t.
Movie stars and musicians shorten their names; Madonna, Oprah, Prince, Beyonce and Drey.
YouTube celebrities create their fame,
Based on their ordinary life.
We, who watch on, add to the myriad of followers,
Playing into their game, adoring their name.
But have we pondered the power of names, for our good?
When we speak, are we breathing life,
Or simply just air?
How can we grasp the life in words?
How can we live out from our true names?

My tent pegs expand,
As I ride.
Wind glides over my skin,
Fear has no place to hide.

A foreigner in my childhood town,
Obstacles abound; pride.
But I don't give in,
I ride. Troubles subside.

Live, right now,
You're awake,
And healing.
Everyday.
Live now!

The leaves change colour all the time,
All the time, all the time.
The leaves change, so live now!

You're alive__
And living,
Grab it,
Embrace it,
Relish all things.
Live now!

The leaves change colour all the time,
All the time, all the time.
The leaves change, so live now!

Don't waste time,
Dwelling on the past,
When you weren't perfect;
They were wasted worries,
They added no life,
But subtracted,
From the promises of pure possibilities.
Live now!

The leaves change colour all the time,
All the time, all the time.
The leaves change, so live now!

Live now!
And not in the future,
When you're a mother,
Lover, poet and peaceful.
Live now!

Taking a break,
From seeking the weak,
In me and embracing the
Beauty in my brokenness.
In this,
Let me walk upon the waters,
Erasing my past and
Hoping for a future promised only in dreams.

There’s much more going on in my life,
Than just in this moment.
There’s a bigger story at large,
The story involves love and atonement.

Not just a job, a husband or health restoration,
But eternity.
Lift your eyes,
Keep them fixed above and not on modernity.

Go deeper still,
Get in under your skin,
Go to the heart,
And let true life begin.

The mind is amazing,
But it can often get us fixed.
On things of this world,
So lift your eyes higher to the mystery betwixt.

when you pause
and ponder,
it's utterly extraordinary
that you are
alive;
out of the billions
you survived,
you are far
from ordinary,
what will propel
you to thrive?

To know one's heart is to unlock yourself from the darkness of the mind; freeing the soul to live Its true self.

Words are like rubies;
Precious and rare.
Yet many I squander,
Unleashing with little care.
