long has the sun loved
asking nothing in return
but for you to live

Fighting this fight
You think your alone
Treatment after treatment
It’s getting old
Tired of fighting
Just want to give up
Getting two steps ahead
But then being pushed back
Jumping hurdles, being pushed to my limits
Contemplating my options, counting the minutes
Even at my worst, I still push through
Having my family and friends support, I couldn’t ask for a better crew
My name is Stephanie, I am battling breast cancer, but I wanted to say thank you
To everyone near and far helping me fight this fight
Sending your love, thoughts and prayers
I will win and conquer this with all my might...
Wrote this for a friend who is battling breast cancer. Please say an extra prayer for her... thank you.

If I will have wrinkles,
let them be from too much smiling.

If I will have bad vision,
let it be from looking at good for too much.

If I will be starved,
let it be from me feeding you all the good I've had.

If I will have broken bones,
let them be broken because I
have taken the pain that would've gone to you.

If I will be weak,
let me be weak from being too strong.

When I will die,
let me die because I have done enough good here.

If the world is water
Then I am the flame
If something goes wrong
I am always to blame
I fear for my life
In this miserable place
I wonder at night
If I’m merely a disgrace

In empty moments I cry
Tears made of ash
And in the mornings
They litter the floor like trash

No one is interested
No one cares to see
That the fire burning inside
Is what makes me, me

I try to convince them
That I’m worth the fight
I may burn you in the end
But in the dark I am your light

Words weave together intricately,

Bleeding colors and echoing sounds

Creating and destroying worlds

You cannot run when you're but a word

In this world of words

Soft and swirling

Sharp and cutting

Handwriting,  names, places and faces

All lost in the sea of letters pulling together

To form words that form sentences

That form paragraphs and pages and books

And worlds

If life was a painting
and could be modified at will
i want this one that belongs to me
to be changed beyond recognition
i would put bright colors
on top of the gray parts
paint many many stars
in the dark corner
add flowers and green leaves
in the barren place
and draw a river
so that life would be as vibrant
running towards the sea of dreams
except
the middle part
i would keep it intact
that is the only treasure worth collecting
the most precious and beautiful
memories.

Love  isn't

supposed

to be easy.                           It's

                                              supposed

                                               to be worth

                                                it.

Broken heart,  I shall fix  -- kintsukuroi
Broken things, I will mend -- kintsukuroi
Broken dreams, I shall repair -- kintsukuroi
Broken life, I will fix -- kintsukuroi
Inspired by Edmund Black

There is nothing that can't be repaired with time and the right intention.

And even when death separates the pain can be repaired with the mortar of memories and knowing life is eternal.

kintsukuroi- is the Japanese art of mending broken pottery using resin laced with gold or silver. kintsukuroi has a deeper philosophical significance. An embracing of the flawed or imperfect. A rebirth.

I don't want to spend my youth
Without
In order to spend my future
With

I am willing to throw my tomorrow
Into the wind
As payment for a better
Today

I will risk what lies ahead
To ensure peace where I am
Right
Now

The future is not guaranteed.
The future is not a given right.
The future is not fair.

Today is sure.
Today is a gift.
Today is what I wake up to every morning.

So I will not stop living
For the future.
I will live on
For today.

I  CAN   DO   IT.

I  DESERVE   IT.

I WILL GET   IT.

END OF STORY.
