Hold me to my promises
I like to break them when you
Tripping out.
I been depending on that plant
Since lean ain't what I'm
Sipping now.

You're different? How?

You treat me just like them old
Broads used to.

Maybe this ain't what I've waited on
For so long.

Who's gonna save you?
Me, myself and I.
Who's gonna save me
When I say I wanna die?

I hear crickets to that question
Because you ignore my every sigh.
You gon be the first one to weep
When I tell y'all not to cry.

It's ridiculous how this goes.
There's certain things you shouldn't
Say.
You gonna regret it all when I'm not
Here some day.

I carved out a smile for you
it was blue
but it's line curved up
toward my eyes
wrinkling my brow
a snake's tongue curled behind my teeth
waiting to dart at a moment's notice
and tell you how you turned
a butterfly
to a worm

In the silence of the night
In a serenity of mind
With gesture
Without any word

The Moon tends to change
The state of mind
Offering a secret message
“Never overdue happiness”

In the journey of thought
Most of us
Lose all the senses
Some recovers, SANE
Most remains, INSANE
Genre: Observational
Theme: Happiness is a state of mind. Can you handle happiness?

I am not a goddess.
Sometimes I'm not as modest
as I would like to be.
The tallest buildings
have the farthest to fall.

I remedy holistically,
take vegan vitamin d3,
liberally diffuse tea tree.

Seasonal depression ***** when you have the regular kind too.
I'm scared of all the classes I'll sleep through,
or instead lie in agony,
agonists halted temporarily,
as the darkness takes my day
from me.

People are like clay.
We can mold to adapt.
We can change how we look,
But not what we are made of;
And if we are left uncared for
We become as hard as rocks,
And that's the tragedy of living.

I had a wall so high, the top you couldn’t see,
and in front there were trenches in the ground.
It had stood there strong for all of my memory,
no one could lift it or break it down.
Then one day you strolled up so casually,
you were so stealthy I didn’t hear a sound.
You asked I could remove it completely
and I suggested going to the next town,
but you knocked and you climbed so persistently
to get inside it seemed you were bound.
Finally one day I opened the gate very cautiously,
then my wall became just a brick mound.
My stronghold had revealed it’s vulnerability,
you had conquered and taken my crown.
Then you said “nevermind, this place isn’t for me.”
after only a short glance around.

my dear, your eyes are made of glass...
oh, no...it seems they have shattered again.

my love, you must understand that...
the most beautiful eyes
have to be formed with heat.

oh, darling,
it seems i have melted them again.

oh, no...i seem to have hurt you...

the fragments of your shattered eyes

are making you bleed again.
