It's so lovely out here
I think I'd be okay if I never went inside again
All I'd need is paper and a pen

And maybe a little food
Taste the moon, my friend

listen it will sing at night

a generous portion of love

with dark colored  sun filled glass

causes this somber sad expression

fills this anguish of mine

to melt my tears of hate....

Let me feel the moon in my bones

behind my wounded heart of mine

a ballad, oh moon, you do sing

from the deepest part of my mind

harbors past missed opportunities

of events through my lifetime~

The moon is raining my tears at night

feeling the sadness of many a years

bounds to my very soul

to take my pain of the disturbed peace.....

The world has gone mad

my life is your equalizing song

rain moon rain, with all your might

Let me radiate in your light....

Let's taste the moon tonight...

Stray cats dreaming of leftover nibbles
gather when I feed the cats I call my pets.

Wistfully they look at the chewing jaws
that would pick clean the fish from rice
and maybe leave at most a half morsel.

The tomcat I wrote about some while ago
has not since been seen
breathing only as a lingering ache uncomfortably undefined.

But I know from the crop of the present visitors
some I would sniff in the next mango laden summer
with opaque diamonds in my eyes.

Sprouts of Bee
   Roots see Bloom
Beautiful Autumn
       Shining Winter
like Breeze from a Colder Bark

Missing winter, but enjoying summer

Mesmerised by an ocean dream,

Eternal life, alone and free.

Rolling waves, sea pure and clear,

Maybe I've found shelter from the storm.

A cave that glistens, a loving aura.

I no longer need my alibi,

Driven to the dream I've always dreamed,

Swimming with the mermaids of the open seas.

Golden rays shine down
On the white peaked mountain top
Water trickles through

of good and evil

once there grew a garden
of great and mighty trees
flowers of great beauty
but also ugly weeds

their petals never wilted
the green leaves never turned
winter never came there
fire never burned

children came to play
to climb the highest boughs
to pluck as many flowers
as their small hands would allow

some trees had lovely fruits
figs to please the eye
ornamental oranges
the apples of a lie

though they held great beauty
had colors to alure
they held worms and maggots
and tasted of manure

innocent of this
the children picked this fruit
and were poisoned by their evil
for evil was their root

in lands of yellow wheat
those young folk became tares
but they didn't know it
and so did not despair

and so they played and frolicked
so this story goes
and good appeared as ragweed

and evil as a

I often refer to hypocrisy
in some Christian people
as the fruit of the
ornamental orange

Wake up with the morn
Inhale the fresh air
Soak in the light of dawn
Taste the dewdrops
To soothe the parched soul
Dreams are new
Waiting to take flight
Chirping birds talk to you
Listen to them closely
How dreams take flight
Nestle your dreams with care
Wide open arms of morning air
Welcomes you in her world
Wide eyed at daybreak
Capture the beauty of this world

I started with a tree,
Brought the chainsaw
And felled it.

I trimmed off the branches,
Stripped the bark
To the underskin
And let the sap drip.

I used the log-splitter
To make the trunk
Into workable pieces.

I chose a log,
Used my wood-splitting axe
To divide into four.

I whittled down,
Pared away
All the insignificants
Until I sat with a twig,
One word,
You.

If the sky itself could break
And the moon could fall out of it
I would hold it on my palms
And wring the colour out of it
Never for a moment believing
That it could not make its own light

When you come home
bring forth a garden, a storm
all the colors of you
a flower petaled rain befalls me
a soaking, sweeping view
from mountains you come
calmly with rain
deep from earth's core
sweet with petrichor
encircling softly warm
attracts me magnetically
stupefies me uncontrollably
though I know the killing hour
will come crushing, empty and forlorn.
