Always remember that,
just for today,
it is well.
Just live for today.
love for today.
Believe for today.
Dream for today.
Be Inspired for today.
Hope for today.
Change for today.
Be respectful for today.
Do the right things for today.
Laugh for today.
Embrace that which endears
your heart today.
Invest in yourself today.
Dare to do today.
Leave your comfort zone
and be that which you want.
Be gentle to yourself today.
Always be true to yourself today.
Today visit the elderly
and your grandparents,
they are and will be your ancestors.
Remember the law of amra,
be generous and give today.
Today be kind.
Treat the weak and afflicted
with compassion today,
you will find yourself
in their place someday.
Arise now today
and do that which you
have never done before.
Remember you did not fail,
just do it differently today.
God speed you today,
and always.

If I ever to do anything to excess,
I hope that it will be kindness
And not its antithesis.
I may only be human, but while I'm stuck doing that, I intend to do a decent job of it.

You are like Water on Earth moving continuously through the water cycle of evaporation and transpiration (evapotranspiration), condensation, precipitation, and then run off, usually reaching the sea to my heart. Evaporation from one and transpiration to another contribute to the precipitation over land(my life). Like Water you are used in the production of a good or service is known as the virtual you.

Safely drinking you is essential to me and other lifeforms even though it provides no calories or organic nutrients. Access to safe drinking you has improved over the last years in almost every part of my world, even though approximately one billion people still lack access to you and over 2.5 billion have access to adequate sanitation.

we are the dreamers
we are the lost people
wanting a light to guide
us
but unless
we riot and
fight for our rights
we can do nothing
you see
it takes an army
to win a war
but it can only
take one voice to
make an impact
and
Martin Luther King Jr
did just that
but why is it that in our
generation
today can't stand up for what's ours
when a man
who had so little did so much
we need to take a stand to make what has the gone wrong right and it will be hard but to save what little humanity is left we must do so.

She starts every morning with light,
Painting the sky with pastel hues,
Spreading excitement for the unknown of a brand new day

She disperses her rays over plants,
Offering a warm welcome,
Stretching out her rays as if to aid them in their growth

She slowly slips behind a dark cloud,
Which makes the world cry,
Longing for her warmth and love to caress it once more

But she reappears once again,
Expelling her fire light across all creation,
Making faces and petals alike smile towards her magic.
For my best friend,
thanks for being a light in my life.

the most beautiful thing
that god does
to people

is that he gifts them

to each other.
dedicated to all the people god has gifted me with.
especially those reading this, that know this.

Have enough respect for others to have patience with them,
Not always depending on them for anything and everything.
Have enough respect for yourself to
Go after what you want, not letting it slip out of your grasp.
Find the b   l    n   e  and you will be golden.

The pained and broken often say
that the answers lay in the dark.
Amongst the old shattered pieces
each little torture leaves its mark.

Each scar born holds a sad story
containing fragments of feeling.
Therein lays the whole of truth
and the first spark of a healing.

So what of the shining light
that is supposed to show the way.
All the answers lay in the dark,
so the pained and broken say.

Seb's young fertile face beamed African royalty
even in the penury of this Nigerian refugee camp.
Her mother's downcast eyes shunned the camera's querying lens,
while Seb's, "I-love-you", eyes were welcoming.

Seb's eyes were as blossom-petaled obsidian pools,
each pierced by the light of a distant star.
Her blackness did not succumb to woeful displacement,
but shone with the promise of an overcoming spirit;
for a Mother's prayers were writ in the marrow of her bones.

Born with a tenacity to love,
her young heart leaped out through trusting inquisitive eyes.
Her tongue, budding out of rich dark faced soil, seemed eager
to taste the sweet juices that her spirited-eyes promised;
smiling, "l love you", behind barbed wired love-me-nots.

Seb was a child . . . full of joyful expectations.
A child who did not choose this world;
'tho born of a Spirit conceived to love . . .
to love the . . . hell . . . out from her world.
