Die into me,

Every kiss is a prayer
As I whisper a prophesy
         To your body.

          The night will keep us
As we constellate our passion.

I die into you,

I await you on the other side,
There open my soul
      And read the inscription:

   He died a thousand times,
Reborn inside her,
    The Sacrificial Lover.

Our anxious eyes fade, blue and calm
As I attentively close the door in our wake
You glow in darkness,
Smouldering inferno,
Eternal vertigo,
Holding a kiss until the cramping muscles
In our lips overpower and subdue us both,
Bite my heart,
Gnaw on my soul,
As I Shakespeareanly
Nail down your hands and
Pin your wrists,
Triumphant Crucifixion,
Your instant flushing cheeks,
Blushing with blood,
Brooding with ardour,
Warmth, warmth, warmth.

Braving the liquid progeny of dark Form,
Showed no trembling boats on the horizon.

The problem with being
-perceived as strong,
Very few have shoulders staunch enough
-for me to cry on.

I try to put on a front that
I'm okay,
but what they don't know is that
the image of you with a gun in your mouth
has never left my mind.
It haunts me, making sleeping difficult
and waking impossible.
While the days go by, I appear to be
more and more okay,
when in reality your absence is making me
weaker
and weaker.
The sound of your heartbeat
is a song I could listen to forever....

Dehydrated skin, like leather
You being here doesn't make it better

Forehead against forehead
I feel my temperature rise

You make me sick to my stomach
Dear -
Darling -
My little stomach bug
Deep breaths
I n  y o u r  n o s e
O u t  y o u r  m o u t h
Count to 10
And over again.
Settle your nerves,
Set up barriers,
And fall into welcoming numbness

I have always been drawn to destruction;
air too thin to breathe-
I carry a pain eyes can't receive.

life and evil are only a letter apart,
and I've come to believe
this was no mistake;

the devil wears sweatpants and a rosary.

he weaves his fingers
through yours tightly
every time he holds you down-

and he shines-
stolen halos line red wrists,
they bang against the drywall-
its four in the morning
and he's come into the room again-
he forever invites himself in

maybe this time God will hear the ringing,
clinging together,
the halos,
the angels
will flee to ****** back
their innocence.
brilliance.

and the motion will cease.
the clouds, close.

claiming "possession"
is out of the question
for he did not seize my soul-
I extracted it, split my skull
all for a taste of the afterlife.

he loves mirrors and other pathways
of reflection;
the evil only seem to love themselves.

I am used to blinding confusion
and bittersweet illusions,
I crave the burn that follows pain.

he likes to leave a mark
beyond scarring the skin,
but I promise,
the worst is within-

life and death are only a day apart
and I've come to believe
I am stuck in between,
and the devil continues,
blissful and free.
