Once was a little humming bird
So innocent & true
He loved a good adventure
But longed for something new

Singing his sweetest tune
He flew
Unsure of where & how he knew
That the distant land would hold something much less than fulfilling

For that little humming bird
Had been searching foreign lands
Wanting excitement & ambience but was missing so much more

So now that little humming birds sings to a different tune
He's now searching inside himself to be happier & strong
For within finding his inner peace he saw further than ever imagined
Ink
I can't wait to get my tattoos.
I'll get the lyrics of all my favorite songs and poems
on my back
even though they say it's
not cool to get them where I can't see them
but you can admire them and trace them and read them
and kiss them
Will you lick my skin?
How do I taste, late at night
unshowered and covered in the day's breath?

If you promise to kiss every tattoo I get
I will get every inch of me inked
**Every inch
Red
My hair is growing longer
I've lost weight - but not the bad way
this time
My new necklace
Your beard is longer too, oh it curls
What's that? Did you get that at work?
It doesn't look serious
I have nightmares
My artwork
Band logos
Smoke with me
Skylines
Tattoo ideas
Michelle's saggy ****, drawn hastily and without detail
but you prefer it that way
Oh how cute
your dogs are trying to steal your pillow
I guess I can be lonely
I'll fight with nobody
except for my stuffed animals for the
empty space
Red
In public we hate each other
But secretly we entertain each other
When the sun goes down our shift begins
During the day, I pretend
Like I'm so sick of men
When really I'm so quick to give in
I don't know why I act so shy
Maybe I like the chase
Though I do know, you like my taste

Nobody knows about our affairs
Except the stars in the midnight air
They light up when they see you worship my body
And the way you're built is so godly
That's probably how you got me

I don't mind this relation
I like it better than the feeling of **temptation
She is the brightest star
        in the night sky.
But in the morning,
        when the sun comes,

              *she is nothing.
"Why are the poet's eyes always sad?"
A little girl asked me once.
She saw me furrow my brow,
And continued with her question.
"You see,
No matter how big you smile,
Or how hard you laugh,
There's always something there.
It's like you've found
The Great Sadness,
And you have to bear it all alone."

I nodded my head,
Fingers on my chin.

Why is it that the poet's eyes are
Always sad?

I'll answer your question
Like I did hers.

To be a poet,
You have to feel every emotion.

You have to know what it's like
To swim with the sharks
And survive,
And you have to know what it's like
To swim with the sharks
And die.

Poets have to know what it's like
To hear a baby cry for the first time,
And what it's like
To hear a mother sob,
Because her baby came quiet
And left without a fight.

We feel every
Great Happiness
And we find every
Great Sadness.

Why are poet's eyes always sad?

It's because the poet
Is always sad.

Once you find
The Great Sadness,
You can never rid yourself of it.

But if you look closely
In a poet's eyes,
You can always see
Happiness
And you can always see
Joy.

Because a poet
Has to feel every emotion,
He feels them all at once
And they can't be hidden.

In every poets' eyes,
You see happiness,
And you see sadness.
You see joy,
And you see pain.
You see love,
And you see loss.

Why are the poet's eyes always sad?

I think it is better to ask,
Why are the poet's eyes always smiling?

She
Is my
Reason
And inspiration
To try
And recover
Love of mine
one day you will die
but I'll be right behind
only hoping this time
you'll finally be mine

Life started with a point,
continuing with a half matured flower,

All the storm that i have gone through,
till the period of nourishment,
survival was only possible,
because you made that happen,

Your hands were over me,
Your blessing was there with me,

When everyone was aganist me,
you stood up for me,
When i was breaked down,
You catched me,you stood for me,

You were there,
in my laugh,in my cry,in my ups &down;,

"Man may come and man may go but,
Mother like you go on forever"
Don't ever fall in love with a poet
because they will indeed admire and watch your every move
they will write about how the pen marks on the side of your palm when you write
don't ever because they will trace
every single freckle you have on your face and
write about the color of each and every one of them and
describe how they smile so brightly under the sunlight
they will want you to want to know every little thing about them
even if it's just what hand they write with and want you
to be wondering why they write with that specific hand when in
reality it doesn't even matter

the poet will watch the way you dig
your eyes onto that book and your small quick remarks onto the 26 letters all crumpled together and will know that everyday at 5:28 p.m. you smile

they will look deeply into your eyes
to see if they can at least take a little
peak of your soul and they will write
about you like if you were the only
thing they see good in this world

they will want to know what you think
about when you look at them and
see if you also count each and
every freckle and hope and write
that you do but they will
love you endlessly and they will
show you that they love you and only you

but don't date a poet if you aren't
capable to watch them and
admire their imperfections
when they sleep late at night
beside you.
