It’s funny, sort of
Every one of us here, at least most of us here, are alike in one way

We all share the same secret

Push your hair to the side, lean closer
I’ll whisper what you’ve refused to know in your ear

It isn’t good for us here

After all, catharsis works in both ways
We’re throwing our darkest soul corners out at these screens
Hour by wasted hour, the horror we relieve is refilled by haywire empathy

Why would we stay, you ask?
It’s an addiction, impossible to stay away

Imagine no rush of sharing, no reveling in thought,
No hiding in the words of others

We’re drawn back to these alphabet keys
The poetry of life haunting us all,
Chasing us through our deepest pain, herding us toward revelations we won’t understand
Controlling the world we see

We repress this whisper of truth, of course
We all know we’re not going to stop

But shhh! This is a
Secret
Secrets are no fun unless you share with everyone.
I love it here... guilty pleasure...

Kale
Mother once told me
Don't waste your tears
On those who don't deserve it
Its now worth
Seeing the wet emotions
Dripping down your face
Because there would be times
Where you really need to cry
And then there would be nothing
Dripping down your face

one day,
someone's going to
come along and convince
you're made of stardust
and laughter
a lovechild of
venus and saturn
looks at you and wonder
how you happened
and you'll finally
finally believe it

Friends can be found in many places
Friends can be your family
They can be there for you when no one else is.

They bring you joy and belonging,
They can make you feel like you are important.

When the feelings of loneliness and sadness arrive, your friends
are there to shoo them away.

This is what friends are for
they can your best friends or just people to talk to
They are always by your side,
all you have to do is look beside you.
Me and My friend made this poem together.
Her name is Taco (not really, she has an actual name)

Tea
I lost myself today
Have you maybe seen me?
I got lost in the crowd of
who they want me to be

I lay awake in bed
Perhaps I'll start to feel
Dreams are all I have
to know that I'm still real

A spear blows through my chest
Again I start to fall
I scream for help once more
But no one hears my call

Where do I go now
that I'm behind this wall?
Everyone I trust
leaves me lost after all

The walls are closing in
My chains cut deeper still
The echoes start to scream
They go in for the ****

The voices seem to say
"The truth will set you free"
The only one to save myself
has always been me

If I could go back now
and carry what I've learned
I'd find myself again
to try and stop the hurt.
"What have I become?
My sweetest friend
Everyone I know
goes away in the end"

my sort of tribute to the wonderfully heart wrenching "Hurt"

I wonder how the mind goes to different places so easily,
while the body stays in one place.
It travels through thousands of thoughts,
going a mile a minute.
Takes you to your dreams, to your wishes
and wills them to be true.
Most seem impossible, unreachable
people will say go for them.
Reach for the Stars

But sometimes the Stars are just not possible to reach,
instead we land on meteors flying through space
taking us farther from our goal then we hoped.

The mind is a curious place, filled with millions of things.
Filled with ambitions, and fantasies that could only come true in books.
Filled with works of art that can't be expressed physically,
can't' be made with paper and stone.

We may express our thoughts with poems,
music
art
but nothing can ever be the same as the original
that only we can think of

In our curious wonderful mind
