It amazes me how we as humans are so afraid of each other, to show ourselves and to simply speak what lies within our hearts. Yet we are angered when no one is around when we need them or they don’t trust us enough to talk openly.

We all have our defenses up, strategies plotted for a war that society controls and somehow here we are, sitting in silence wishing for someone to let their guard down.

Why do we fear the real and raw?
Are we scared of what’s within ourselves rather than what’s in others?
I say this behind a mask, behind walls built by an obscured imagination.

Storm my defenses, tear down this castle of fear and come sit with me in the ruins of these lies. Let me show you my heart, a tender tale of hopes and dreams.

I just went with the flow on this one, the pending questions and confusion

wildly and freely,
in the spaces between the trees,
in love, our souls dance.

Needles like fingers,
Winters embrace, I await
your graceful descent.

Could we lay side by side in silence like the letters carved on wood by lovers.
Can we for a moment be lines drawn, symbols of a moment once shared.

Short n sweet. I just want to lay with you

Silence.
It’s all I can hear.
Loud.
It amplifies every fear.
Alone.
I wish you were near.
Sanity.
It’s about to disappear.
Hope.
Gentle whispers in my ear.

What if the writing was on the wall
but you couldn't see, blinded by
your own reflection.
And if I spoke out aloud, would
you hear me over the sound of
your own misery?
What if I gave you my heart, would
you have space to hold it beside
your ego?
Too many what if's.
I think I will hold onto it for a
while longer.

To hold your heart in the dark,
to admire you without eyes, to feel you from the tip of my toes to the apex of every hair on my body, this is to love.
Wholly.

I heard you calling my name,
your voice crawling along
the forest floor like a
desperate echo from the
past.

We have traveled through
many lifetimes in many forms.
Your scent familiar in each, reminding of the first time we met.
