As I am reading.
My mind is feeding.
My soul is feeling.
My heart is crying.
Your words they haunt me.
The more I read.
The more they please me.
Teasing my brain neurons.
Tickle my thinner skin.
Feels so alive.
When you take me in.
Into your soul
and fragile mind.
I can almost feel your
heartbeat racing.
Dark shadows chasing.
Hear you mentally breaking.
In your words
I know who you are.
You carry a heavy burden.
I can't carry it for you.
But I can pick you up.
And together we move forward.
One day they're going to forget about you.
They're going to move on.
One day they're going to disappear.
They're going to be long gone.

One day they're going to be with someone else.
They're going to start a family.
One day they're going to have everything.
They're going to be happy.

One day they're going to sit and think.
They're going to be listening to music in their car.
One day they're going to hear your favorite song.
They're going to wonder where you are.

One day they're going to see that the lyrics finally make sense.
They're going to think they should have noticed before.
One day they're going to see the connection.
They're going to realize you're the one they're meant for.

One day they're going to have sadness growing in their hearts.
They're going to try and blame fate.
One day they're going to feel the pain.
They're going to be already far too late.

I want to inject music into my bloodstream,
Maybe then
I'll feel a beat come through my heart for once.
Listening to a cover  of Twenty One Pilots' "Stressed Out".
I am the sky,
The girl who keeps her head in the clouds.
I am the land of the unknown,
The girl who dreams of being anywhere but reality.
     I am the ocean,
With feelings going up and down just like the waves.
I am the flowers in spring,
The girl who is sweet and fun to be around.
I am the distant fear inside,
The girl afraid to do/ say or believe outside her comfort zone.
     I am a warrior,
The girl who overcame many obstacles.
     I am a bunny,
The girl whose thoughts hop around from one topic to another.
                             I am me.

Bow to
the greatest thief that ever thieved.
I can steal opportunity from
myself
with ease.

Bow to
the greatest liar that ever lived
I can kid
myself
if I so please.

Bow to
the greatest killer that ever breathed.
I can leave
my dreams
deceased.

They don't know how it feels

to awake every morning,
and all they can wonder is
why they had even awoken

They don't know how it feels

to pick up all of their pieces,
and put them back together
but still feel like they're broken

They don't know how it feels

to say all that they can say,
and still feel like there's more
but every word has been spoken

They don't know how it feels

to go to sleep every night,
and the only hope they have
is that their eyes will not open

When I was a younger man,
there wasn't much that I can't
But as the twinkles turns to wrinkles, in my eyes,
expectations dies
All in time and in some time,
there wasn't much that I can

Its man's fate to wither in time,
what's the use of saving every dime,
you came alone, you go alone,
this change in view, is what it does to you,
When I was a younger man,
there wasn't much that I can't

You value things that you never knew,
like relationships and then a few,
Love, Loss, regret, memories,
life is empty without these,
Believe me when I say to you,
these are the things that makes you YOU

And in time if you find someone,
blessed be you, for all I can tell,
a life lived loved, is sublime,
I wish I had some more time,
when I was a younger man,
I would have cherished all I can
Got inspiration for this when I read PoetryJournal's "Cosmetic" poem. :)
Come to me, my darling,
with your pen and your paper,
so I can show you the true lines of a woman.
Trace my contours and follow my curves,
to all the places that you adore,
until your southern borders rise to meet mine.

Can your hand capture the motions we make?
Like silhouettes of swelling grace?
Abandon your ink, and sink into me,
like the universe crashing inside of the sea.
Rock me like waves, bend me like sin,
whisper your pleasure into my skin.

Come to me, my darling,
come into me.
