I wish I didn't want to die.
But I'm a little filthy.
I wish I didn't want to die.
But I'm a little used.
I wish I didn't want to die.
But I'm a little broken.
I wish I didn't want to die.
But I'm a little gone.

Erenn
He was running on air
Jumping on constellations
He's like Peter Pan
Only this Peter is tall and growing
He reached out his hand
And asked her to dance
She wondered why she didn't decline
Strangers that could fly caught her eye

She felt his warm fingers
Their fingers clenched
As he held her hand tightly
They flew above the skies
She felt so alive
Her agonies that she suffered
Gone like it was never there

He suddenly grabbed something
She wondered what it could be
He opened his gentle hands
And the brightest little star glows
Like the northern lights in the vast skies
Like fireworks exploding in a snowglobe

She touched it & she fell
Awoke and disappointed
Her dream didn't last till the end
The boy whose name was not Peter
Might be back in neverland
And the Little Star now vanished
**Only fragments of dreams
That will never cease to exist
I freaking love Peter Pan ever since I was young. I'd always wanted to be like him. I cried when I didn't get the part as Peter in a musical.hha I really wanted to be like him. Not a heartbreaker like him, but to never ever grow up and live in adrventures! So this is my interpretation of him I wrote in a poem:)
Got inspired by one of my friends here.
Orked Saerah. Gave me an idea and inspiration to write this piece.
Not my best work. But I love this one.

He came everyday to see her
As her life slowly withers
She mount every will to endure the pain
With him standing to catch her faint
There's no way she can submit to fear
Frail like a snail slowly reaching the end
He didn't give up, he knew she'll get better

He loved her through her
misery and pain. Even though
she was fading out into the black
and grey. He promised to kiss her
and stay. With his shining light he
let her demons come out and play
and managed to stop the sad songs
that were stuck on in her head every
single day. Hand in hand he walked
with her out of the dark while he tore
the shadows that used to follow her apart.
Kissing her under the night sky claiming
that he was love drunk. Turning her lips
to crushed cranberry red. “You’ll get better
I promise” he said.

She kept thinking what if she dies
And he finds another soul
She hated that thought
But she rendered to the cold
She knew deep inside
She's not getting  better
Her life filching barely at its end
She smiled through pretense crescent
Deceiving like the moon gleaming
Fate fall through and disguised in surprise
Accidents love kissing loyal men
She survived and he died
She cries forever
Until she listens to his last voicemail
"Baby, I don't wanna say this. But I told you so.. you got well. I'm sorry I couldn't make it till the end, so please learn to love again."

Eulogy

The date draws nearer
to the one I should avoid so
I don’t want to crush my bones.
I have grown 4 inches
in the span of 5 years;
lost 8 teeth.
Those pearls,
falling to the sand
out of my bleeding mouth,
and the jellyfish shocks my foot.
My eyes were fixed on things
I could not keep,
places I could not stay.
Didn’t I know enough?
Didn’t I see enough blood
running down from the windows
of luxurious towers?
Didn’t I see the smoke -
the funnels,
Applying tragedy to beauty.
On the balcony, in my mourning suit,
I cannot view the ocean from here.
So I go,
down the stairs, across the street,
and a radio’s tune, blown by the wind,
reaches me.
I was supposed,
expected to weep.
No other sound could interrupt
the silence and secrecy
between every person in the room
who knew what the other was thinking.
I should have fallen asleep
waiting for the tide.
We gave up on death,
just as we had in life.
I wanted to pull the sun down
by a string,
so I could dream.
Let me go on, do not stir me.
The crash, thunder, light,
All reminders that the earth
was still breathing, alive,
and I do not want to be.
How could I resist such an invitation?
But how dare I after this?
And everything was suddenly changed,
I could feel the loss, in my legs,
in my stomach and veins.
I could see it in the sunset.
How can you leave behind all of this,
and still take so much with you.
We crossed the state line,
back home and the distance
lends a hand to me.
Maybe it was fear, maybe regret,
maybe forgery, maybe innocence.
But I never saw what it was,
why they laughed,
why at the mention of your name,
my stomach clenched.
I never get too close to the fire,
or stayed in the sun for too long.
Many have joined,
many will in peace.
How strange is it,
numbers placed on days,
time placed on light and orbit -
It is too long, too much.
I could find a way, a place,
where all of this makes sense.
I could hide the truth.
I hate the years, the miles,
all dragging me from you,
and the water,
begging to get inside my lungs.
And you show me your face.
But my eyes will always be on the ground and sky,
where I wish I could stay, and wish I could fly.

i.

summer stained your arms
with the rays of sunshine
that spill through to you
and you wear it proudly
wear the crown of thorns
placed on your head
by someone who’s long gone

ii.

last night i was singing
about seeing you again
and i don’t think i will
maybe i’ll go to the peak
of the highest mountain
and i’ll count everyone i can
and come down when it’s enough
that you might have been one of them

iii.

i’ll leak drizzle onto my palms
i’ll stay still till i rust
and then turn into dust
and people plant flowers
where my mind used to be
and the wolves and girls
will cry, cry for me
until the babies i had
finally learn to speak

i cut a hole in my pocket -
my mother told me
"that’s how
you lose things”
maybe i should have
cut a hole in my head
but if i tried to lose you
i’d lose my mind instead
