Into the depths of the mirror he would gaze
Trying to find himself through the foggy haze
But the air was thick and it stuck in his throat
So he hit his blunt, laid back, and would ****
His mind began to wonder to the places he'd been
And he remembered how happy he was,
way back then
When the sun would always shine, and friends were always near,
When he had a women who to his heart, was dear
Sophie's laugh could brighten his day
And all the pains of yesterday would go away
They would hold hands and kiss
His life had found bliss
For he had found Sophie
And Sophie was his
He couldn't have guessed,
Sophie wouldn't live to have kids
When the masked monster broke into their house, they both hid
The mask had a quench for blood,
That only death satisfies
Poor Sophie's last love,
Would be her demise
The mans smile was swept from his face
As he realized the darkness of the place
For where he was, there was no sun
He reached across the table and pick up his gun
And just as the mask had done to Sophie,
He took a life, the finest trophy.
When work needed done
We used to pound the pavement
But now we just punch keys
We're living in the digital age
Full of neon signs and L.E.Ds

Some say it's the future
Some say it's a disease
I say *it's okay in moderation
Just take a moment
Unplug
And Breath
We need to find our personal balances between living in reality and living behind a computer screen
They think I'm "fixed"
because of therapy, treatment
funny, depression isnt just some skit
it's an illness, and no, it doesn't end.

Silly you, you think I'm fine
you're outside my walls
can't cross this line
happy on the outside
Inside I'm aching to die.
Why do we get happy, if in the end we are going to cry?
Why do we love someone, if that person won't even try?
They say we're too young to say our goodbyes,
but what's the point on living if we're just going to die?
Why do we think so much about what we want to say?
when the person we say it too will hate us the very next day?
They think we're unexpected, even though we're so cliché?
because to them it matters how pretty we are, and how much we weigh...
why do we try so hard to be something we're not?
because the person you're trying for doesn't care a whole lot.
So maybe we should stop living, give the world a change.
put in a little ugly and watch the pain drift away.
So maybe we shouldn't think so much about what we want to say
and maybe stop rushing, have a little delay
we should focus more on breathing instead of living,
we should stop receiving and start a little giving.
stop trying so hard to be something we don't want to be
because all the reasons don't actually impress society.
you did what I expected
I knew it from the start
you said you wanted me
but you chose her
and broke my heart
Why is it always the pretty (not the good-looking but the pretty) people that feel they are worthless?
I love you all (in a way)
Just a touch
of madness
Please
Life would be so
dull without it
