She weeps not for the shore
As distance creates a shadow
She embraces the current
Becoming the wave
And gently pushes her sea home

She chases not the sun
As the day is put to rest
She is the moonlight
That cradles the stars
Tightly to her *******

She yearns not
Her pain-streaked tears
That fall below her feet
She is the soil beneath her toes
Her pain now colors the tree

She worries not
The flowers' bloom
Or the leaves that fall like rain
She is the wind
That will kiss the ground
And sweep it all away
Say my name
Say it gently
Use your words
To caress me
Speak your thoughts
Speak them out loud
Confess your love
Amidst the crowd
Scream your wishes
Scream your dreams
Make your reality
Better than it seems
Whisper your pain
Whisper your fears
Release the tension
Wipe away your tears
Open your mind
Open up wide
Let my love in
Let me inside

I Fell In Love With You**

I fell in love with you
slowly,
syllable by syllable,
word by word,
poem by poem
imagining the moon’s
dancing affair with stars,
twinkle by twinkle.
And then
all at once
like the explosion
of a super nova
affecting distant galaxies
and down to my very soul.
~~~
I fell in love with you gently,
the way a dew drop
glistens in the morning sun,
the way a flower often opens
to a moonlit song.
~~~
But like all love worth holding,
it turns to fire-
raging,
uncontrolled,
wild and consuming;
you have become the flames
dancing across my skin,
smoldering brightly
within my heart
turning me into the sweet smell of ash.
~~~
I fell in love with you
slowly
then quickly,
the way a meteor flashes
as it skims across the night sky
or hearts melt
within an ******* sigh.
I fell in love with you.
Sorry.
If you love the leaves
I am winter
If you're full of songs
I am silence
If you love the rain
I am the desert
If you are the good
I am the evil
If you are beautiful
What am I?
There is nothing more daunting,
When you tell a girl she is beautiful
And she doesn't believe you.
He'd stay up all night
transfixed on her beauty,
this lady of the night
& he'd fight the urge to stay,
to watch her as the sun came up.
But, he knew it would **** him if he stayed
& he just couldn't bear to take her back
with him to his crypt,
to live an eternal life
in the darkness
of cold , cold nights.
One day I'll see the world,
Have dust on my feet
From a thousand different lands.
I'll travel with dusty feet,
Musty books,
Camera in hand,
Adventure beckoning me on.
Maybe I'll have no home,
I'll be a wanderer-
Maybe we need more gypsies-
Maybe I'll have
Barely a penny to my name.
I'll spend it all on plane tickets,
I'll earn my roof and food
By telling stories,
Penning poems.
Maybe when I'm an old lady,
People will tell stories
Of the crazy girl
Who came from a town so small
She had to travel the world
To find out more
About who she was.
Maybe people will be talking
Before I've even left,
About the crazy girl
With crazy dreams
Who's going to do crazy things
And change a crazy world.
But being called crazy
Is a small price to pay
To do things no one's done.
It just means I realize
The stars aren't so far away
If you know how to believe.
It just means
I'll have stardust
On my feet
From a thousand different suns.
so you only want me when i sleep,
in my dreams
we are holding hands
and we are sewn together
like the most complex seam-
we are connected like
eve to adam's ribs.
in my dreams
we are sitting on my back porch,
smoking till our lungs turn black
drinking till the sun comes up
until you forget your way back home
so you decide to stay over
and you sleep in my bed
then you do that thing with your fingers
or that thing with your mouth,
you ask me to *** first
and we are a symphony
of moans and shouts.
in my dreams
i know your fears
wishes and dreams
like i know every word
to my favorite pop song
and you know how to judge
me by the the language of my looks.
in my dreams
when we come together
we are never apart
your name is attached to mine
like toilet paper to a shoe...
okay, maybe something a little
less clumsy
doesn't matter
because i'm still connected to you.
in my dreams
when me and your parents meet
we get along without missing a beat
and your mother pulls out,
dusts off
the photo albums and automatically
sets off your sighs
your fathers laughter reverberates through the house
and your dog won't stop licking at my shoes.
in my dreams
every kiss feels like the first
and every time our noses bump
we laugh and the wrinkles
beneath your eyes are
wide and out in the open.
i can trace them with my finger tips
without being afraid of what you
will say
without fear of you pulling away.
yes, we are in love my dreams
we are one in my dreams
we are meant to be in my dreams.
when i wake up
it is just me.
I’d treat you like a queen, but what does it mean?
Not a thing, cause I’m new, and you want the old
You tell me nothing even matters, you lie to me
Warmth of your touch… yes, your lie's so bold
Your bright eyes go along your light skin
The sun’s rays reflect off of your soft lips
They beckon me to come and share in sin
You edge closer to me and meet my kiss
Still you leave me for farther oceans and seas
As I wander along the sandy shores of the floor
You visit the pyramids while in Egyptian suites
I’m a lost hieroglyphic, buried, yet abhorred
You are to me, the purest of all beauty
Yet, when your eyes look upon mine
You only see, nothing, my invisibility
Your gorgeous curves are all aligned
Perfectly, within the lovely artistry
Of Gods perfection within his creation
You are the pinnacle of his legacy
The title of angel on the brink of elation
In fact, angels swoon over your statuesque
Physique, you are the Earth and the Air
Blended together to form a new element
This element is named after you, your hair,
Your talk along with the grace of your walk
That defines your blissful ****** function
Your art and the minds you begin to spark
That brings all men into fateful unison
Although you lie to them, and to me
We all still pursue you all the same
In their eyes they see a new thing
I see the girl who needs my last name
However, you hold back your love
You keep it hidden away and safe
I look for it in the heavens above
Because with you I reach that place
You are the reason I open my eyes at night
And explore dreams every single morning
You are the queen who rules with might
I am nothing but a peasant adoring
As you play in my hair and laugh loudly
While we share in time together
I push your lies aside and speak proudly
About how you make me better
Because I am nothing but a poor devil
Who will love you beyond all time
If you were to love me I’d pick up a shovel
Hold it tight, and then bury myself alive
I would sell my entire soul in turn
If it meant keeping you from harm
I would buy a home then watch it burn
If it meant healing all of your scars
I wouldn’t rewrite the entire bible
Just a single commandment of truth
The one about worshiping false idols
Because women should idolize you
You are the reason for everything
I wrote enough poems for books
Each line twisting and turning
Relating back to each side of you
People tell me you can’t express love
As openly to women anymore
I agree, disagree; I don’t know enough
These poems are the blueprint to my soul
These words will never reach you anyway
So let the lovely lies live on
Cleopatra, for you I’ll always pray
Maybe one day, you’ll call me, home.
