No lies escapes someone's sharp mind.
just saying, quick reminder, a quote, 6 words story.
.
We were stormy, at arms,
So brave on the heather bluffs,
Starry eyes would nae surrender,
Nor great battered seas, to us above.

You took me with a shy shrug,
My flesh broke about violet skies,
I rushed to greet your body greedy
On dizzy bluffs, so dangerously high.

I could not move away from you,
So tangled were we becoming near,
Your touch was rapier, on fire, lethal,
My heart was stricken, punctured there.

In one just moment we destroyed
Each other, blood laden within bliss,
Both of us conquered on the sea bluffs,
Rivals implode to smithereens, by first kiss.

if time had fingers
I would braid them with mine
and never undo
this dance we call it
life.
when those we have elected tell us blatant lies
     and call them “alternative facts”
we should not wait too long to call them liars
make them aware that we don’t share
their newspeak fantasies and visions
     removed from everyday reality

nor do we treasure their maneuvers
that keep the media all hyped up
reporting every tweet as if it were
     one of the ten commandments
Moses once held up in stone

while
     unmentioned
behind quite secret White House doors
the leader’s relatives and cronies
    incompetent but greedy
are nominated for positions of whose duties
they do not really have a clue

a friend of oil & coal & fracking
supposedly protects our environment

an ignorant billionairess
who never really saw a public school
is now in charge of education

a business man with heavy ties to Russia
is asked to steer our foreign policy

a judge well known for his quite racist bias
is thought to fit into the supreme court

and many of the Wall Street’s alligators
     whose swamps the current leader
     has kept promising to drain
     all through his great campaign
are happily assembled ‘round the trough
of power  influence  and money

facts quite ‘alternative’ indeed
from those that had been promised
for over more than a whole year
by that self-styled
‘candidate against the establishment’
with not so secret Russian ties

simply unbelievable
I though I was done with political verse, but I simply can't help it in view of what's happening!!!

In contrary of the distance we take.
Goodbyes are just as hard to make.

I wish the cold will stay away from our hearts.
It’s our toughest decision we’ve made - being apart.

I give to you a piece of my soul for you to hold.
You give yours, I cherish like gold.

Three years is a short time away from each other,
Yet as long as our hearts are entwine together
Our love is as sweet as forever.

"does long distance relationship really last? I think it does for some people, but it is not for everyone. I guess it really depends how stretchable your love is..." ~ pax

My life is an unfinished artwork
It needs a retouch on how it should be.
Sometimes what i badly need is a fresh start...
all my poems begin with the weather,
overlaid with time and place

comforting certitude,
cocktail of calibration,
calculating precision,
a surety bonding.
a shared time and space
with humanity

all my poems end with
"if only,"
incessant self-queryimg, imbalanced cowardice,
a yellowing shadow of red doubt,
overwhelming black stain of a starless night sky,
an inconsequential infection
coveting my weakfish earthbound innards

tyranny of selfish doubt,
the cowardly safety of 'not me'
the pockmarked constellation of
everything tragic body tattooed,
the Cain mark you hide beneath the torn skin
of being
only human

all my poems end with whether
Yes
She has the most gorgeous face I've ever laid eyes on
The kindest heart a man can ever know
And a smile that can take away the deepest of problems away for a short time
She's only human
But her greatest traits make her an Angel
To be considered she deeply cares about
Gives me an ego bigger than ever
I get super defensive
When anyone says anything negative about her
Because she's doing more for me
Than any other person before
I thank God for blessing me with her
She's always self-deprecating and negative about herself
But I'll be there to correct the lie
That lies in her mind
That's she's not mighty fine
In every category possible
I'm so impressed
If you're mine, I'll always be fine
Anyone that tells me how great she is
I'll always say
Yes
