She's deluded to see what's within.
The lies she mirrored to what she believed.
Truth conceit in ways to bleed,
The fire that ignites the dark that breathes.
Moulded for greatness, to honour the heir to the throne.
But the kingdom has been long gone and doomed.
She hummed the lullaby that father said will never die,
"As long you keep humming in the darkest of nights,
Hope will light and brazen through"
Her eyes mimics emerald stones that bejewelled men that gazed.
They faze only to feast their heart's content
"Greed and power will only consume deranged men"
Her amity will shine through.
Refracting rays of hope to those in need
Rooted to her veins, her mettle heart
Will protect her through any storm.
The evil that lurks from within will perish.
**Once again,
She will triumph through
The kingdom will once again rise to greatness
And relinquish every darkness that resides
Its been a long a time:) HI guys:)

Nothing can compare to this feeling of bliss.
Heck, I can't even begin to understand and make sense of this emotion.
You've caused my heart to beat in rhythms I thought I could never produce.
You lit up my heart and now even my soul explodes in different vibrant colors.
With you, everything just seems to fall into place and that, alone, scares me because I haven't been able to feel this for a long time.

They were right: even after every hurt people have caused, we should give love one more chance and always one more.
We are never prepared for heartbreak but that's what makes it all the more beautiful - knowing that each ache is a step closer to finding the right one.

It’s true, as it makes more sense now.
No wonder it didn't work out with anyone else because it was always meant to work with you.
Now I understand that I have been looking in all the wrong places because you were right before my eyes.
I was taught to believe that love should be extravagant, loud and should follow certain rules.
With all the years and heartbreaks that passed, I know that it doesn't have to be all of those.

Love is found in the little things. The quiet yet meaningful gestures.
It doesn’t boast as it is humble, and it clearly expects nothing in return.
Most importantly, Love should feel like home.

I am so glad I’m home.
She twists and turns under sheets and covers.
Sleep evades her as fire burns her cold skin.
Darkness shrouds like tapestries of terror
Warding off consoling light –
“Let me in… let me in.”
Boards creak and nails scratch the walls
Inching its way towards its fidgeting prey.
A monstrosity stands before her eying the
Trembling body –
“Let me play…let me play.”
It leans forward to her ear and whispers,
“I know what you’ve done, what a shame,”
Its serpentine tongue licks her cheek.
“I thought you were better, free from blame.
But you’re like the rest, foul and unclean,
A lump of mass and unfit to live.
Unworthy of redemption, so obscene –
Let me give… let me give.”
Sobs erupt from her quivering lips and gasps
For air from the weight of her filthy sin.
It caressed her hair with its skeletal, scaly
Hands, and kindly asked to
“Let me win… let me win.”
But a streak of light from the rising morning
Sun sent Guilt back into the dark.
A new day, a new beginning, an
Opportunity for a fresh start.
But from the depths of what has been,
There it waits for you to
*Let it in… let it in
She mistook the devils open arms as a warm embrace,
she knew no better
it was the first sight of affection she had ever known,
the embrace was not one of warmth but of desirable pain,
instead of letting go she clung on, inhaling the bitter stench of its flesh.
The devil dug its claws into her back,
breaking bones and tearing the muscle,
until she was its slave,
its puppet.
Slowing as it reached the most important part of her,
pulling her apart gently, touching softly, humming beneath its breath.
It reached into her soul; the warm glow radiating on the devils face.
It released its icy breath,
poisoning her from the inside, the warm glow fading into dark.
Her grip on the devil loosened and she lay back into damp grass, her skin wet with the dew.
Without the light from her soul she couldn't find her way,
she reached out frail fingers as the devil turned its back.
The grass wrapped around her arms and legs with dewy kisses, as she became one with the earth.
Let me know what you think!

They can only be felt

Every night
when the moon
appears in the skies,
I’ll not look away
as I gaze in
your eyes

For nothing compares
to the beauty I see,
when your eyes
cast the light
of the moon
back on me
Her eyes are incredibly beautiful.
will you talk to my corpse
after im dead?
.
.
.

ask me things like how
was your day?

tell me about
each and every
person
youve replaced me with?

and ill have changed...
you know?

you're so quiet now
.
is what you'll say,
but i won't respond.

and maybe you'll cry?
the way i cried after you broke my heart--
into
p i e c e s

all while saying sorry and
what not?

and will you tell me the truth?
like the old days, when we were
kids

what caused you to do it?
ill think to ask,
.
but wont...

was it me?
or the first night
you went drinking?

or
will you just pretend that it wasn't
you
who killed me?
i have mixed feelings about this.
A little boy with bright red hair, was playing by the balcony above the stairs. Standing on the seat of a rocking chair, pushing it back and forth without a care. Rocking so fast, throwing himself over the balcony, ten feet in the air! I rushed to save the child, searching everywhere to see that the little boy was never  even there.
This was a dream I had last year and it always stuck with me so I turned it into a poem.
