Dazzle of diamond
Richness of gold
Freshness of pearl
Simplicity of silver
A bit of
Rust from iron too
Thread it all in the string of time
To create a jewellery that glows
Adorn that with grace to see
How life grows
Everyday!
Variety is the essence of life, experience every thing that comes your way with grace.......

To me, you are like a fresh pearl
Found in the deepest bed of ocean
I need to dive in to find that portion
But
I don't know how to dive
Still
Waiting at the brink
For the ocean to dry
So that
Pearl is visible to my eyes
And
I could behold its beauty!

Pen
Sometimes I wish to write
But unsure what to pen
Sometimes I know what to write
But unsure how to pen
I guess, it's all impromptu
At the right time one knows
What to write and when

Nature is the greatest teacher

Crooked trees in the forest
Standing tall, exibiting peace
Indicating individuality of beings
Teaching we can take imperfections with ease

Lucidity of water
Absorbing all colours, flowing free
Indicating true nature of mind
Teaching we can severe from conventions unkind

Air all around us
Remaining oblivious, fueling life
Indicating selfless presence
Teaching we can become generous saviours

Solidity of earth
Accomodating all, feeding life
Indicating endurance
Teaching we can be helpful with no expected return

Vastness of sky
Spanning across space, inspiring heights
Indicating grandeur
Teaching we can stand tall with big hearts

Agression of fire
Igniting dynamism, demonstrating hold
Indicating fearlessness
Teaching we can be creative yet bold

Steadiness of mountain
Defying age, exuding independance
Indicating determination
Teaching emancipation

Freshness of rain
Falling free, spreading coolness
Indicating calmness
Teaching we can be soothing to cold hearts

Shine of sun
Spreading warmth, sharing energy
Indicating synergy
Teaching we can be light to someone

Shimmer of moon
Soothing darkness, glowing in phases
Indicating change in times
Teaching flexibility as time changes

Glitter of stars
Decorating skies, falling in while
Indicating transient fame
Teaching we all fade out with time

And so on................

We must understand
We cannt live without nature
Nature can standalone quite
We need to learn from it
Wear its qualities and requite

Alas! We invariably live againt it

Straitjacketing your smile
Masks many moments of glee
In full zip show that curve
In your sense and in nerve
That crescent shaped flair
And the ubiquitous wear
Ensures that you are there
Living in the moment
For "smile is the easiest stunt"
So, pick your like, chuckle or chortle
Smile should never be bottled

Talentless with no position (Goon)
Talentless with position (Doom)
Talented with no position (Doom)
Talented with position (Boom)

Valuable is the caliber of a designee
Designation in itself is incompetent
Talented can exalt the lowest position
With talentless authority bears the brunt

As a kid when I heard the stories
Of heavens and hells
And gods and ghosts
I thought of those to be true
But as I grew
My education warned me
Not to trust that view

As a child when my elders advised
Do unto others as you would have them do to you
I thought they were impractical
Ignorant of smartness required
To manage things through

By far I thought I was the wise
To have known it all
Realized late in time
How great was that fall

Superficial logic, intellectual materialism
Cloaked my natural state of true mind
Boosting desires, sterile opinions
Leaving the true sense behind

I am thankful to the nature
For giving me an opportune
To study the greatest reality
Why humans are marooned

Time and space are eternal
I am just the part of that infinite
The one awarded with human form
For some past intentions right
I should not take pride in that
For where I am today
Later might be someone else’s part

Man who decoded the mystery of mind
Taught this decades ago
Guard thoughts, actions, and speech
To reach the real goal
Not judge anything and any being
Instead focus on developing clear seeing
As everything is ever changing
Including ones birth realms
A full mind just exhibits knowledge
Only in empty mind wisdom reaps
Don’t get swayed by extremes
Middle way is the path of keep

Now I understand
Message behind the moral stories
What one sows is what one reaps
One gets heavenly pleasures or hellish pain
Exclusively based on law of deeds
One gets what one deserves
For law of nature never fails

But latent power within
Can turn it all around
If not enlightenment
One can at least find in life
A decent ground
Now and in future!
Dedicated to one of the greatest teachers "Shakyamuni Siddharth Gautama Buddha".

One superman that I call him for encouraging people to exploit their power of minds to the fullest to experience peace that they look for in the external sources.  Just like body needs exercise to remain fit, mind needs stillness to be wise. Meditation is the tool to exercise the mind.

It's simple, yet difficult for most.

My smile could be public
But tears are personal
Smile can be faked
Tears really roll for special one

Breeze whispered into my ears passing by
Come on! I will take your feelings to a flight
Where scenery is lush green, hearts are white
I said, bring along some rain to make it a memory
It said, OK, you want both why, tell me the story
I said, with someone in rain, I want to walk free
As I wish to amass fortune of memories............

One must be right first to see what is wrong
One must understand wrong to be right
To know the nature of things really as they are
Contemplate on each thought without bar
To develop wisdom this becomes the road
Concept of singularity cloaks mind's door
If things are just one way
Wisdom is not required to weigh
Think 'just enough' to know what truth is
Hold thoughts momentarily and then release
Hold, but not cling as impermanent is everything
Bharti Singh May 2018
Don't be "full" of yourself
As "empty" is "full" of "air"

Don't throw your "weight" around
As "hollow" is "light" in "weight"

If someone is
Beyond your ken
Should you bother?
No, I think not
Because
Something unique
Everyone has got
Humans can never
Be fully mature
To judge another
With conjecture

Cost free is expensive smile
Easy to learn hard to find
Just that beaming curve
Is the best shape
For aaaaaall to entwine

Sometime ago
I went to him for relief
What I came back with
Was an additional belief
Unaware of the profound impact
Ignorant of the impending fact
That somebody would change
The course of my thoughts
He will become the ocean
My thoughts, the river
As destined
Submerging in the ocean
Is the river’s final run
And that additional belief
Of loosing is an absolute fun

I do smile at life, but you make my smile wider
You cast a spell on me
I am spellbound

thinking good

Left to yearn for the sunshine again

life and death
        amid breaths
is black or white
        as per your ride
life is a show
          you reap
what you sow
         only lesson
for all to know
          life is a wave
with ups and downs
          who surf it all
always rebound

On and off
Flickering grey
Chirpy feelings
Parked at bay

Unalloyed devotion
Just for one
Pushes you
Into oblivion

After a lot
Hue and cry
When you learn
The lesson why

Transition from
Tears to smile
Bubbles the senses
Though takes a while

I wrote something that I did not mean
When I write that, I feel it’s unseen

In real, I make someone else’s thought mine
Publicize it and leave others to opine

These actually are one liner’s lifted from popular text
I dissemble and exude that I take my life at best

I am the ideal of all humans in my words
For similar situation in real, I am truly reverse

My online life is most beautiful on earth
Whereas offline, I am rehashing in vain to cover up dearth

My posts are full of inspiration and energy
If you meet me in real I am full of lethargy

Why dupe to be a connoisseur and be a commonplace
At least quote the source, give true author some space

Be eclectic and original in expression
Write such that it’s never been done

*Bharti
Most of the times, I feel posts on social media avowing inspirational inclination and concerns on burning issues of the society are impressive but factitious. Urges us to form gentle opinions about the people posting these. However, in reality, its all borrowed knowledge which in reality may be far beyond application when comes to it. I did that a few times and ruminate why????? What's the harm in being original? Write to express not impress. So all are happy in virtual world; so am I after posting this....hahahaha...:)

Bygones are bygones
Another chance to unseal the current
Don't bemoan over what's missed
Wield and shield
What you have to generate fun
Step ahead to perfection
Learn, learn, and learn
From everything and everyone
On this note welcome 2015
May this year bring you
Felicitous moments umpteen

I am both black and white
Whichever is visible to your sight

I am both sane and insane
Whichever tickles your brain

I am both good and evil soul
Whichever you like to unfold

I am both fact and figment
Whichever is you intent

I am both creature and substance
Whichever you call into existence

I am your mirror
Your true color

I always think why

sometimes we see light in the darkness
but
sometimes find darkness in the light

sometimes we say right is not doing wrong
but
sometimes we feel doing wrong is our right

sometimes we play safe avoiding risks
but
sometimes we take risks in a stride

sometimes we think world is a mystery
but
sometimes we realise world is what is in the sight

sometimes we swoon over little emotions
but
sometimes we are indifferent to the plights

sometimes we are full of ourselves
but
sometimes we feel empty from inside

all our lives we face instability in feelings & thoughts
but
question why stability in the world is a fight

Pearls of words when bought together
Glides you into the world another

So powerful is their magical effect
Can turn an abject to a perfect

Vica-versa is equally true
So, affair with words is a matter of few

Beauty of this affair is always a pleasure
Relish every moment of this open treasure

Cheers to all who are engaged in this fling
For words, add to the feelings that extra bling
