Have I lost my passion

I'm not sure I have an answer
but it just doesn't feel the same
I needed more control of my world
sometimes my actions were just a shame

but it seems my heart is attached
to feel love and to feel pain
now seems just going thru the motions
very little sun and not even any rain

I'm not sure what I now feel
seems I'm somewhere in between
I try reaching a little now and then
but encouragement isn't seen

this feels so different so weird
this was the thought then she touched me
the words so filled me and I knew
the passion was just waiting to be free

I was left with a jump in my step
my heart pounding a quickened beat
I felt her in my arms once again
felt her parting kiss so dam sweet

I seem to have regained regrouped
I can feel the blood flowing with a cause
she is my passion that had drifted some
now I am no longer feeling pause

****** off and get a coffee, leave me in my chair
alone to watch the waves and bones
and the fractured wind-washed water stones
a canvas canute,  imperious I command the tide,
go back I say, come forth no more,
I speak therefore you must abide
and stand astride as the rushing waters flee my hand
retreating from the scatted margin land
they fear my wrath, and plot amongst themselves in bubbled froth
regrouped replenished forces gather forth to rush and overtake my seat
wet and bloodied but unbowed I hold my ground and kick my soaking feet
neither of us is willing to admit defeat

walking on air in my bedroom
so far from the pain and residue
scrubbed and rubbed myself down to the bone
retired; regrouped and ascent the throne
rose glasses on with a visionary mind
pearly whites to hide the pain inside
solid front for a processing machine underneath my skin
estimated time of recovery in two months
just gotta embrace the mourning until the morning
wipe the tears and conquer my fears
rest and repeat, don't forget to eat, rest and repeat
So hot I burnt out

i carefully typed out
your love,
a cascading serenade

it read
your **** is candy lemonade

i flinched upon reading
what i had not written
never could i type such scurrilous lines
i shook my head,
regrouped and very carefully typed out
your flaxen hair like silk caresses my soul

it read
your wet **** lips plush drools in pools

deeply perplexed
i did not write such lasciviousness
am i going mad,
i thought
this can't be happening
what will i do
what will my publisher say
***
the advance to pay the rent
i told myself get a hard grip

and very very carefully typed out
your eyes are azure waves of loves adoration

there, i said
see all is well
as i watched each letter print out
so very conscientiously
thank gawd i thought,
perfect
barley blinked
and looked down upon my work

only to read
your mouth a tender trove
my **** for tender licks
for pleasures grace stretched wide
imploring lickity splits
perhaps I'm a victim
of hot *******' kisses ****
or just some lost demons

A lovely day, the eighth of May, with sunshine and light breeze
You could not tell, that all’s not well and we felt safe at ease
A little blip, a video clip, showed damage way out west
But that was far, and could not mar our little place of rest

The march of time, brought clouds that climb, into an angry sky
And soon the voice, gave us a choice, as winds began to fly
I stood and watched, the radar notched, and signified a storm
I waited to see, the possibility, of it’s mighty form

In lapsing light, at infamous heights, they formed and went away
With funnels strong, it was not long, I heard the voice say
“Take cover NOW, the storms somehow, are imminent and direct”
So in a panic, acting quite frantic, we sought a way to protect

As sullen skies stopped, the stillness topped our deep distraught concern
And all was still, and quiet until, the skies began to turn
Clouds regrouped, and trees were scooped, like toothpicks they did snap
And running fast, entrance at last, was like a treasure map

We were inside, seeking to hide, from winds and funnel cones
Windows broke, and trees did stroke, our little country home
Our chimney fell, the stones did sail, the rocks blasted our roof
The wind and rain, sound like a train, the damage is the proof

Well I must say, it went away, as fast as it had started
It seemed much longer, as it was stronger, just before it parted
It buried the cars, with trees like bars, in only thirty seconds
Doors blocked, the driveway socked, and freedom clearly beckoned

We were blessed, and if you guessed, this was real and true
In cleanup mode, our small abode, with so much left to do
I ache for those, whose loss arose, to greater heights than this
With nature’s aim, no one’s to blame, just pray it goes amiss

Imagine if there was your magical adage containing the ability to enable you to delighted if you find yourself gloomy, and bring a person returning to truth when you find yourself ecstatic?

From riches to rags

Most human beings are living like ghosts,
Not really knowing what the future holds.
Whilst we wash in the slime,
In our own cardboard homes.

There is a building; that is your home.
Once picture perfect; now in ruins after a cyclone.
Now like those you once looked down upon,
From your self-appointed pedestal;
You too have become what you used to call a ***.

But now you must call them what they are;
A friend, an enemy, a homeless dying drunk,
Sleeping in a burnt out car.
In need of shelter, just as you are;
But the ***** that gave you shelter,
Shows charity starts at home.

For when the streets become your home
And you have lived that way for many years;
You will look at people in their suits
And recall once hearing all the cheers.
Success was such an easy thing to attain,
But compassion for your fellow man has become your new aim.

For when you have lost all your worldly possessions
And you have realized your working life, is simply a profession.
Then maybe you will see clearly, find some sort of consolation;
Once you have regrouped and once more risen.

You have to begin your life, all over again;
But the partner standing by you is in the same situation.
Then three years down the line,
As you sit there upon your throne;
You remember the bad old days have now come and gone.

But you are no longer a snob;
Now you no longer live for your job.
Now you no longer choose to live alone;
You can now open up to a fellow human being and live life as one.

A nation, besieged by an enemy force,
was encircled and close to defeat.
The leader of the beleaguered army
wanted to capitulate, hoping for leniency
from the tactically superior general,
who'd beaten him at every turn.

A young, ambitious officer,
looking to stand out from his rivals,
came up with a plan to eliminate
the unbeatable general.
A soldier would surrender to the invaders,
spreading a rumour,
so impressed by the talented general,
the citizenry would **** their monarch
proclaiming him their new leader.

The canard was told to everyone
the captive had contact with.
The soldiers argued,
was the prisoner lying or telling the truth.
It didn't matter anymore,
the seed of sedition was planted.
Other military leaders,
envious of the general's success,
quickly relayed the possible betrayal
to their ruler.

The belligerent king, fearful his sovereignty
might be under threat,
recalled the effective general
under the guise of an update.
On the generals return,
the king had him executed for treason.

In the ensuing uncertainty,
the defenders regrouped,
launching a counter-attack.
The new general, chosen by the king,
less competent than the last,
lost all the territory,
won by the former military leader.
The defending army, now on the offensive,
outmanoeuvred the invading force,
driving the enemy from their dominion.

Gave respect with wasted time
Till something better came alone

Quick to move while he regrouped
Messed around on a break kept it over

Talking about getting back together

The Fermi Paradox: Where is everyone?
The Universe is nearly 14 billion years old say those in the know.
Enough time to populate our galaxy they say!
But is this really so?
The elements in our bodies were created in the stars,
blasted into space when they died and exploded.
How long did that take?
The elements then regrouped to form second generation stars to repeat the process.
How long would that take?
Finally enough of what makes our bodies was created.
Planets then formed filled with the materials to create life.
How long does that take?
How many generations of stars to make?
Our sun will die at 10 billion years of age.
It’s now 5 billon years old.
How many generations of stars were needed for us?
We just might be the first.
We just might be the ancients!
you talked about the meaning of things. i did not understand.

when we returned to the house, the phone was ringing.       we

regrouped.
