Superhero I have a pipe and dark sunglasses, taking names and kicking some ***** I'm a powerless superhero, they call me Captain De Niro. Owe me money, you better pay, or pain will be on your way. You better not be selling drugs, or my lead pipe will give severe hugs. Don't be ****** any innocent women, will be breaking your hands and fingers, all ten. Molesting kids and you don't wanna know, the dumpster, your ***** I will throw. I don't allow any peeping or stalking, with broken legs, there will be no walking. I'm one of those modern day vigilantes, on my head, I wear my wife's ******* Can't leap a building in a single bound, like you, I get dizzy when spun around. Can't go under water and summon fish, I prefer them on my eating dish. No fancy car or a sidekick, but my pipe can break a brick. Don't have an invisible jet, like you, I'm in deep debt. People have no idea who I am, I might be Steve, I might be Sam. Just a man who hates violence, I hate people that are spineless. I catch bank robbers in the act, the odd against them are fully stacked. I help keep crime off the streets, can't count the number of villain defeats.

Superhero
I’d thrown back my head and let out   that cackle But I didn’t realize that that candelabra The lit one was so close And my head went Bosh! Sponto jumped up Arms raised and ready Ready to clobber me And Hilary To my left looked at me and screamed Immobile except for her face stretched by distress and fear I’d watched that horrendous De Niro version of Frankenstein that afternoon And everyone was screaming at the monster I remembered those scenes now And I understood I stamped out my burning head quickly Before I got hit I learned a lesson that day. The spot of hair, you know Never did grow back right.

Opening No. 1
Had a dream that Bob De Niro And I Stole a car. We cruised the California Coastline. It ended in L.A. It ended abruptly. And Freud Would have a Field day. I’d Simply smile with The sunrise.

today I didn't do anything but I cried so perhaps I did more than the average person did I watched too many movies but if I told you the number I might get embarrassed and I cried when Robert De Niro cried he reminds me a lot of my dad especially in the movie I watched with his four kids that move away from home and constantly lie to him about their lives oh that's a lot like what my brothers and I do we just don't wanna worry him, y'know I spent most of my day in bed let's say 75% I went outside but that was only to buy groceries with the money I don't technically have my mother wanted to call but I didn't respond somedays you just don't feel like talking and pretending everything is alright sometimes you need a day where everything's not alright so that you can figure out that everything indeed is alright and if you're wondering, I've come around to the brighter side, despite the ****** weather and my lazy body my body might not forgive me yet for all the **** I've put it through it's mostly to do with secrets and regrets there are some things I'll easily forget until my body gets sick and it always gets sick and I still haven't quite gotten the hang of sleep and what it really means I'll get too little and drink too much coffee or I'll get too much and eat too much I have a friend visiting from another city this week he reminds me what clarity means and what resilience means and what inner beauty means and I think I'd like to have a picnic in the park with him maybe lay in the breeze and soak up the sun he's sixty but he looks forty and numbers don't mean a thing which is why I've decided to admit that I watched 8 movies today

Let's All Go to the Movies
Interesting that we older men now flag our own decline Composted in this shameful ruse enacted over time. We point to prime examples of our keynote men of age De Niro, Keitel, Clooney, Hurt…all class acts, on the stage. Take Clarkson, Rush, O’Toole and Bean…they brim like vintage wine, Having come to terms with baldness and the sagging paunch decline. Like them, we’ve learned the lesson of absurdity of life, Where the trick to aged contentedness, is to pacify the wife. An awareness of fragility in that pending death is near, Is offset by the peace of mind of subdued *** and beer. We say, to Hell with gradual fade of hairline, health and wealth When a crystal glass of single malt can smooth it all by stealth. So quell the racing, thudding heart, lean back in wisdom’s shine, Secure in that with shaky hand…We can still quaff vintage wine. And should the youth lose patience with a hesitancy there We can usually still their arrogance with a knowing senior stare, And should there be a question of a competency still? Remind them their tomorrow too.. is running fast downhill. Don’t sweat it with the walker, for it all arrives too soon And sweetly on the wireless there was Perry Como’s croon, Take comfort in the fact that soon they’ll put us out to grass When oblivion comes creeping in Altzheimers foggy clasp. To tabulate the good and bad within this lifetime’s span Leaves the negatives predominant, should truth reveal her hand, It becomes a bit obsessive when the mind’s allowed to dwell For around the corner, probably, …. is a one way trip to Hell. Are you itchy, enraged and mad? Hold your hammer and lose control Give up everything you once had Smash his face and **** his soul Your son, friend and even dad A filthy deceiver that watch you fall Ram the hammer through his eyes Blow his brain all over the wall! Are you still angry? Drop the hammer and hold your gun This church is full of lies Shoot the priest and shoot the nun ********** democracy The biggest **** is now a hero Alone, living the fantasy What the **** you ain't De Niro! This ain't a movie picture Falling dead for your greed Old, ****** and an idiot You don't know what you need! You need mercy from your God He ain't here right now I am here, I am fair; Let me show you how, I will set your soul free Just repeat your own vow.

Furious
Written after seeing the film of the same name, starring Robert De Niro. I drive these lonely streets at night Picking up shadows from under street lights I'll take anyone, kooks, pushers, hookers I'll travel any place, don't bother me Not my business the hours these people keep. The rain lashes down, blurring the bright lights Like a watercolour painting, mixing, blending Some day a great rain will come And wash all the **** off the streets. I feel inside me a change coming Someone must somehow stop The users and abusers of the innocent, There must be one to make a stand. I see young girls, fourteen or fifteen Walking the sidewalk for the pleasure of creeps Selling the dream of teenage *** What dreams do they have locked away Washed into the gutter by the rain. I see drug pushers selling people's lives On the dream of a trip to the wild side Everyone is trying to get out, escape But the streets have a grip you cannot see, You can buy a potion to get you high But from this hell there is no easy exit. Some come to this circus to trade They need to live their life of lies And I am the ferryman to the other side. Some day a great rain will come To wash away all of this **** Women will be able to walk safe, alone Without looking over their shoulder; I feel a change coming in me I must be the one to make a stand, These children of sin need a home Somewhere to shelter from the storm, Then maybe I can sleep nights again.

#10word whatever
when late o'clock turns into early and Robert De Niro is playing it bad you wonder what's best or worst or if its all in between or nothing at all par for the course or just plain normal how you live as long as your alive De Niro would agree late films are good and the time of day has nothing to do with it at all

time of day
You all seem to be waiting for Godot or De Niro while watching the world go topsy-turvy, I'm hoping the bailiffs will serve me a pint instead of an eviction notice. There's a cost of living crisis but for the poor when wasn't there? kids do that share and share alike thing, I like that thing it has the ring of happiness about it, some get old and miserly some end up in the cemetery many take up Christianity which is not as it seems a blasphemy, it's just hedging the bets and playing the odds, there are plenty of gods one must be a winner.

Hitchhiking to Hades
Standing together as if glued in a wax-like fashion Men and women stand awkwardly with darting eyes Idiosyncratic with all their little quirks, As they await for something to happen- but nothing comes of it They all just gawk and amuse themselves Like shallow voids; pretending Is this a play act? Or an example of forgotten selves? Who knows I grab a slice of pizza and join in, And attempt my best Robert De Niro impression Hoping for some laughs Hoping, to be accepted
