Human skin pigment ranges from pale yellow, cream, pink to dark brown.
There is no black or white.
Some African tribes are charcoal grey, but not black.
There is but one race, the human race.
Beware anything that Divides us.
We must Unite for the Common Good.
Welcome to Planet Paul.

The fictional “Prisoner” of the sixties said,
“I am not a number, I am a person.”
He also claimed he was a “free man”.
He shouted defiantly that he would not be pushed,
Filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed
Or numbered.

I couldn’t agree more.
Nor will I be labelled or classified.
“My life is my own”.
I’m an individual human being.
Not Working or Middle Class,
Nor white nor religious nor atheist,
Nor racist, sexist, feminist, chauvinist
No Tory, Liberal. Labourite, Corbynista,
Remainer, Brexiteer, Remainiac, Remoaner
Or whatever.
I don’t do labels.

We are each born as single living entities,
Without asking to be who we are.
All in the same “boat”:
A tiny planet on the far edge
Of a spiral galaxy.

My bowels work like everyone else’s.
I belch and ****.
From time to time I’m ill
Or injured.
A man of many moods.
I’ll live and die like everyone else.
For the bottom line is,
We need to Unite,
As We are All the Same.

Wellbeing is an illness that plagues my mind
regardless of what others believe it to be.
~~ The echoing sound of shattering which you heard so softly in the distance was the sound of me trying to break myself. ~~

You put me on a health regime,
full of fruits, kale, and hummus,
you put me on an exercise plan,
and taught me what a burpee was.
You have always put me on something,
taught me something about myself or others,
actuated some facet of my potential, and for that I thank you.

Once lost,
Never regained.
Once lost,
Overwhelming, the pain.
Passed on,
He's passed away.
Never forgot,
Never forgotten, the name.
Never lost,
The visions, the claims.
Never lost,
Your Legacy remains.
Your Legacy, we celebrate.

The man who moved a nation,
With the courage of the heart, and
*The might of the mind.

May your soul rest well, may your light shine on.

What is forgiveness?

Is forgiveness some absolute
Like once you've given it
That's it?

I don't think that it is.
I think it's a constant
choice and battle against emotion.

Or maybe I just haven't truly forgiven yet

Is forgiveness the same as letting go?

I don't know
I just know that I'm not very good at that
Especially if it involves upset

Maybe it's not a matter of forgiveness but of forgetting

Maybe that would make it easy.

But it seems I'm cursed with a long and detailed memory
But memories fade surely?
Time heals and all
Yet I'm afraid
Cause attach an emotion to them
And when you feel that emotion again
They all come flying back up to the surface

Why is that?

It makes me feel like I've never truly let anything go
Or maybe when I'm in a compromised state
It just becomes more of a weight
And by God it weighs heavy!

So I wonder what is forgiveness to me?

*Forgiveness is a way to be free

When they ask how you are

lie

Lie

and

LIE

Some more
It's sad how I think this way of dealing with life is encouraged. People don't really open up to each other and I think it's cause they don't believe others will listen or help but I hope we will all keep the faith and tell people how we really feel if we need to

this world confuses me so.
we are all made equal without ever really being equal at anything comparable side by side. in fact we aren't.
we are told to respect others while they could never in a million years respect us and what we believe. we can barely respect ourselves.
we are expected to build up our soul from others with the known thought that the very first soul was alone, yet we still are told that we have to have someone to accent us. we never do, but we still choose to believe so.
we were each molded differently like a potter molding his masterpieces, but due to reflections and gravity, the idea of beauty and ugliness haunts our every action. we could never get the thought that we were beautiful past our ears to begin with.
we are told to take a leap of faith by the only people who haven't ever taken one themselves as they sit and wait for a terrible outcome, so they can move along thinking they made the right choice to stay put. the only way to move forward is to actually move yourself, not watch others move for you.

I love the way a person can be spotted from the other side of the room without even trying.
It's like the earth breathing, wind beating against my windows as it's sighing.
They're just as all other things are,
outstanding without ever really standing out.
Yet they do.
Somehow they just caught your eye, and drew you in.
Like the stars in the nighttime blue, one standing out more than the other even if they all look exactly the same.
Since when did the pavement of dust and dirt decide to be walked upon?
Without, what would support?
That's the thing, it didn't, it couldn't.
It just is.
Just like they didn't choose to stand out, but they did.
Just like you don't feel like anyone sees you, or that anyone cares to admire you delicate face.
You are inspiring to someone without ever lifting a single finger,
and that can't be too bad honestly.
All you do is exist, and you mean the world to someone.
You complement everything without ever deciding to accessorize anything, and I guess that's just the way things are.
