Let's begin the journeyTo refreshing our soulsWith poetic words on paper
We take the bull by the hornsTo achieve the dreams that our parents have not dreamed for us but our own
Where we conquer each of our failures to wear the crown of our successes
Hold on tight to your roller coaster
Let not the ride of life terrify the potential that lies hidden inside
When your soul screams to be kept alive Rewrite your story with a climatic twist Before the clock stops and your heart regrets Never achieving anything
Toast to all the people who enjoyed seeing me fail, but today is a new day. No snooze button needed because my dreams kept my head ablaze and it's time I,we,seize the day.

I think
The worst thing in life to see
Is a happy looking table
Full or people with wonderful souls
To cry like their life depends on it
They send a toast out
To all of those who aren't here with them
They thank each other for remembering
Tell their spouses "No need for the tears, love"
Share stories of the ones lost
The ones that left
They yell, and argue
Besides the fact they're family
And after that short- but sweet- time
They act like it never happened
There is a fine line between the lost and the left. Ones who went by their doing, or the ones who went without notice. After all the toasts i have witnessed, i think when everyone starts to reminisce in the memories that's the part i cant handle seeing.
Let's make a toast partake if you hear my voice beyond the coasts.

To our past the hurst, the Many learning curves buried in the sands of time.

To our here and now The good the bad and the ugly take a bow.

To our future I hope you never
come.
A toast
'I do care'
Pleas for decency
Jokes on toast
Cool shadows
Pale blue
Slowly changing
Fading
A baby smiles
Peaceful peacocks
An apple tree
Wading birds
Bouncing sounds
Pony rides
Ping pong *****
Everywhere.

Soft curdled interior now at its eutectic
Holds a bifurcated square of gluten
Equally carbonized together
In an **** of ill-advised but sensual nutrition
In a poetic city this could be a menu item. Comes with a small green salad?

I tried to start my day without coffee
It was harder than it first seemed
My get up and go left me in the dust
I had a caffeine withdrawal headache so bad I felt I might scream
I seemed to move slow like a scene of the zombies from The Walking Dead
I thought I should not  have gotten out of bed
I realize that this is nothing a few cups of coffee could not fix
I can hardly wait to drink that brew
I toast to all of you!
I am making you toast.
White bread, thick and moist, crisps and darkens,
A smell of crumbs and comfort
wafts around the room.
The butter curls about the knife
Soft and oily, there is some on my finger
And I lick it off.
The toast is ready, it jumps from the toaster,
And I start to spread, butter sinking in with a satisfied sigh.
And here you are, with your arms around my waist,
Your warm breath in my ear, trying to steal a piece too early.
I catch your fingers in my oily own
And you put them to your mouth.
What do you want, hungry mister?
Me or the toast?

To love
A form of art
Painting memories with the brush of a hand against a cheek

To love
A form of destruction
Knowing a mind can never save every memory from shattering, scattering

To love
A form of death
Looking at you, every moment, closer to the end

To love
To create
To destroy
To die

Raise your glass
Here's to love.
