Soul Jun 28
From the tiny
chest of yours,
dangles a white
thread wrapped
in thick dust;
Your face all
etched with
cobwebs
grey;—
I found you on
my old table,
beside my
blunt needle
which I held
in my soft palms
fifty years ago.
Tell me,
will you?
Did your heart
belonged to
someone,
once,
long
ago?
A love so long, hidden, not knowing if it was so…

Snatched; Kicked,
out of the doors;
You run away
along the paths
in the midst of
the storms.—
Your visible ribs,
sunken abdomen,
soaked by the
tears of the
skies.
Does hunger
always rule your
life?
Have you ever felt anyone’s situation? It might be a person or an animal. What have you done then? Did you look into it with a kind heart or betrayed him?

like a frog springs atop  a lily pad,
her enthusiastic essence was as scad.
like an infant sprawls into a deep sleep,
her appearance was an embodiment of babysheep.

like a coordinated kitchen fork blends with the spoon
we both accumulated as the exquisite winter's moon.

on a decadent day, when we will reunite,
she would still guffaw at my scrappy jokes
the void will transform into light
when your gaiety will crash the plight.

I reach for you
out of habit,
and touch only the dust
where love used to live.

But the quiet we left behind
stays.
And stays.
And stays.
Ginku-kugos ko an ulunan nga imo gin gamit.
Samtang an mahagkot nga hangin naharumhom ha akon panit.
Nag-hihinulat ha imo pag-balik, bisan san-o, bisan diin.
Gin-gapos ha tuna han mga hinumduman nga nagpa-bilin.

Gin-tuman ko an aton saad ha ilarom han kahoy
Nga mag-huhulat ako bisan an kalibutan magubot ngan magmasamok.
Iilubon an kamingaw nga ha dughan nag-aawit
Aantuson an duro nga  kasubo ngan kapait.

Ngan umabot gihap an takna nga ak' ginpamulat
An im' pag-balik ha akon kasingkasing nag-aghat
Napuno'n kalipay, pag-laum sugad hin balagun nga kumanap.
Saksi an langit, unta dire la patahap.

Ngan yana kay aanhi ka na man
Pipiriton ko pag-huring an imo ngaran
Pamad-a na an luha ha im' mata, sipat la ha ak' bayhon.
Samtang hangkop mo an ladawan ha bawbaw han akon lungon.

English Translation:

I held the pillow you once knew,
As the cold wind whispered, piercing through.
Awaiting your return, come when, come where,
Bound to this earth by memories we share.
Beneath the tree, our promise I kept true,
To wait though chaos brewed, and worlds turned new.
To bear the longing, singing in my breast,
Endure the sorrow, bitter and unblessed.
And then the moment, long yearned for, came to be,
Your presence stirring hope within my heart, you see.
Joy overflowed, like vines that gently creep,
Heaven as witness, may this promise deeply keep.
And now that you are finally here,
Your name, I'll try to whisper near.
Dry now the tears that dim your sight, and gaze upon my face,
While you embrace the image on my coffin's final resting place.

Under the blue sky, beneath the divine’s will,
Sorrow will fade, our soul will no longer be afraid.
By His light, fields of precious flowers will bloom within our soul.
And we will rise greater than ever,
Carrying the beauty of wondrous auroras and the strength of the skies.
For we are worthy of a million stars and gracious smiles.
gracious, divine's will, sorrow

I dwell alone in this gray hinterland,
While friends I love live past its edge.
An outsider — I’ve made my stand,
My soul unmoved by local pledge.

They cast their judgment, dull and dry,
Their world drained of hue or grace.
But I won't flinch, nor question why —
For love once lived in a brighter place.

For my friends, I’ll bear this ache,
This exile etched in time and land.
It’s fleeting, like a dream I’ll shake,
A fading echo I’ll not withstand.

For my heart, I’ll cross the line,
To warmth, to truth, to those who see —
The ones who held my hand in time,
The ones who simply loved all of me.

I cannot forget
While you deserve the whole world
I deserve the dirt
How can I apologize when you won't let me?
