There is a steady white wash of noise
It pulls your body closer
Your heart rate elevates
The air is thick with warmth
The mist delivers salt on your lips
A crash on shore hits you square in the chest

I can purify myself out there
You go under the water
Emerged in dark and light
Cold rushes over you
You are floating and fighting

Illness creeps in beneath the meadow
Overcoming all desire to designate
Visions to their natural elevations

I promised myself an euphoric gain
And now your silhouette will remain
Even beyond this sicknesses slick seal
I will always heal

Thank you for staying alive today.
Thank you for waking up
and stretching your branches up to heaven
even though sometimes they’re too weak
to grow and reach further.
Thank you for opening your eyes
even though sometimes
the darkness is more peaceful than the light.
Thank you for deciding to take in oxygen
and never letting out of it,
never holding your breath,
Ready to dive in to the day
Ready to drown,
Ready to fight back the waters.
Thank you for staying here.
Because you matter to me,
to your friends,
to your family,
And that is enough.
You are enough.
Always.
Thank you for being a fighter.
even though sometimes you feel like
nobody notices,
nobody cares,
nobody appreciates,
and that the world is continuously
Stepping on your fingers from holding on.
Thank you for going into the world with bloodied bandages
on your arms and feet
Everyday may be a battlefield
You get wounded.
You feel that you’re weak
But wounds are not your kryptonite.
They can only make you stronger.
Because you know better
I understand that you’re below empty
I understand that you don’t want to do this anymore.
I understand how it feels like when you just want everything to stop.
But the truth is this
Life may not be the most beautiful thing in this world for you right now
but maybe someday you'll understand
that life needs to throw you into the fires,
scorch your skin,
burn your flesh,
for you
to be
reborn.
Give me a surface from which to start
Then give it some angles
To plug in the parts

Fill it with sorrow And mundane things
To mix with the beautiful
So they wont know what to believe

Now bring in the life , as though they where clowns
And most of them will not see the world that surrounds
Beyond these wall lies the infinite cloud
The world beyond the world
The turtle on which we perch

"And its turtles all the way down"

So no tears
the shadows of the box
Is what keep us here

But a shadow is only shade
On a summer day

And one day
*it will drift away

Have you ever wondered
Why a river is pulled towards the sea
But the ocean crashes against the rocks
How the sun smiles
But the moon weeps
How the trees whisper in the breeze
But argue emotion  in the wind

Have you ever considered
How minutes pass us by
But time stands still when in love
Why the tears of angels fall
But in praise voices are raised to heaven
How death is a passing
But is the gift of life reborn

Trembling fingers trace the contours of your body,
starting from the straight edge of your jaw,
down to the smooth ***** of your bare chest,
and over the sinewy muscles of your forearms.

I inhale softly,
watching as the pale morning light permeates through the curtains,
falling over your body like a canopy,
committing to memory the quintessence of your being.

Not knowing how much longer I can stay,
aware of the unraveling of cords that bind us,
I desperately hoard the precious fragments of you,
to lock up, weigh down, and toss into the abyss of my soul.

"You are so beautiful", I'd whisper as you sleep,
somewhere off in your dreams,
far away from me.

I'll press my lips against yours for the last time,
savoring the taste of your breath as I stand up to leave.

"It's not you. It's me", will be the pathetic excuse I'll give.
I'll cut you off my contacts,
and block you on my phone,
because darling, I want you to hate me,
until I no longer feel like home.

When the moment comes that I'm finally ready,
I'll unblock you and ring you up.
You'll probably answer me with crude, heated words,
or maybe you won't pick up at all.
"My dear, you are so beautiful",
I'd whisper anyway,
before letting myself fade away into oblivion,
so I can be reborn as a ray of sunlight,
pouring over your body as you make love to someone else.

How can one person
Have so much power over another?
A person not even related to you
Becomes closer to you than your own mother?
They have so much power
They can control your moods?
They can change your way of thinking
They can change your attitude.
They can control your inner feelings
They can make you do anything.
They could take to the depths of Hell
Or make your heart sing.
Power like that
Could be so destructive.
Someone had that power over me
& my life was disrupted.
That person had that power over me
& I couldn't resist it.
They took their hold off of me
& quite frankly, I missed it.
They left me broken
They became my desire, my need.
She left me to depend on myself
But I didn't know how to lead.
Her power over me was
Scary & hypnotic.
Now I took back control
That power, she's no longer got it.
I released myself from her
I got my life back.
My heart no longer feels
Like it's under attack.
My heart is once again beating
& everything's perfect.
I often ask myself
Was all this even worth it?
I believe it was
Because I now know what to do.
Never let a person
Ever have that much power over you.

The soul it gives us emotion to be
who we are. Without this we are
a shell, uncaring to those around
us all, not knowing why we are here.

We cry, we laugh, feel love for the first time,
these are droplets of the soul manifested
in to our lives.

Does are soul define us to who we are,
does it shine bright as day,
lighting the lives it touched.
Or have vines on darkness that grow spread
out consuming us as it grows.

We are eternal souls, are bodies just vessels
to hold on to it for a limited time,
before our essence moves on anew.
Refreshed for the next creation to breath
life with that spark called the soul.
