The shades of gray are nearly infinite-
mirroring attitudes regarding our sin.
Degrees of separation give distinction
to human perception of ugliness within.

Living now in this ‘Age of Information’
has not made life much more palatable;
visible is God’s Truth and Satan’s lies,
as individuals determine what’s palpable.

Gobs of available data doesn’t translate
into experience and useful wisdom directly.
Real sapience, is shown by the Holy Spirit,
when the ideas of faith are under scrutiny.

Biblical principles enable all to overcome
corrosive powers of intellectual pollution;
however, personal change, only occurs when…
one has the mindset for a Heavenly solution!

We march
Withering white
All seas to dust

The ground caves in
The earth grows hollow

Ribs through the skin
Teeth through the lips
Breath catching black

We march
In a ceaseless beat
To the rhythm of dead machines
Over cracked roads
And empty homes

Where  once  the   grasses  played  and  ploughed,
in  faithful  winds  had  swung  and  bowed,
there  now  lie a thousand  flies  adrift …
All  choked  in  sod  and  soaked  to  death.

A million  artificial  stars
be  falling  stars  that  never  stop.

And  on  the  surface  tracks  of  dust
be  grinding  footsteps  hard  and  fast,
too  cruel  for  moon  and  earth  too last.

Groping  hands  of  eternal  fright
not  finding  what  they  ever  might .
The  treasures  they  will  no  more  find,
obstruct  their  eyes  and  make  them  blind.

Through  brutal  conscience, smog  and  fire
our  paradise   has  changed  to  mire.

through the glass
this is so pretty.
is this the future?
its stretching in every direction.
"where is the car in front of me" is a good question
flurries cloud her vision
swirling and streaming through the air
its not snowing
but the dust is undoubtedly there
my eyes are wide
focused on the sky above
never have i seen such blazing color
scorching the night sky
When i was driving home in a very polluted area of town the streetlights made the ground glow, and the skyscrapers where going through the (surprisingly) low clouds
no longer where the clouds shone through by the sun.
they gleamed florescent.

The sky is blue
Dark and quaint
A silver hue
Shimmers faint
The smog is rising
Drowning the earth
So mesmerising
Silver grey on concrete turf
It moves so slow
A languid crawl
Misery in tow
It consumes us all
The sludge is pumping
Into the sea
Isn't it something?

I hate this air which are compelled to breathe
We are trapped in the clutches of pollution
If I don't breathe this air
I will die
but now that I am breathing this air
I am dying
Gaia will poison us all
for what we did to her
oh **** sorry we have oxygen tanks, i could always use that.
on a serious note, we all should be worried about the pollution in the world. i don't need to present you with the evidence of what global warming is doing to mankind.
We are the evidence of what global warming is doing to mankind
I am no 5th grader who is chanting slogans to save this planet, i am no environmentalist, or the leader of some 'SAVE MOTHER EARTH' club. Just a human who is trying to make the world a better place
Gaia : Greek goddess of earth.

Look up and see and the stars?
You mean the light pink, blood in the water darkness?
I have never seen stars, I know the sound of trains and cars, horses and stillness are as foreign to me as your touch
I'm sorry for my wonder, my sky only shines with artificial beauty
Where the whole that was
has finally
fragmented,
descending in an open, unremarkable blaze.

And so pieces of me shall collide
with the ground,
implanting fractures
few shall discern.

And the winds of days
and nights will continue to
persuade the dirt unto me
so my morose roots will not grow,
infesting a world undeserving
of my inadvertent pollution.

The last doll on the wall timorous
The last sound in the hall rings separate
The first twinkling in the night glamorous
The first tiptoes through to death arrives
While wading easefully through sleepy skies
Forceful apprehensions are pushing
The detridus rubble mocking all soft cushions
A damaging entanglement of precious threads
Finding yourself where the sidewalk ends
The purifying fog replaced by gloomy smoke
Inhaled once then died the starved dog.

He heard from a mile and passed a smile
I rushed to him, he caught my mind
"So humble and kind, O' whirling wind
Why you stopped this lunatic blind"

"There was a time" said I
to him, he nodded and passed a smile
"That day I remember, my daily quest
The sun was set, the dusk was wet
Far away where colors were loud
Emotions and voices were stuffed in me
And I, was stuffed in every cloud

Then all of a sudden, a black robed maiden
Trapped my soul like a huge kraken
Often I see her in your towns
Is that where she blet?"
and then he said, "Oh! I am sorry Miss, I didn't do that"
"It's okay you are blind and innocent I know that"

"One more day I remember, my daily quest
Under my roof, all love birds met
Far away when a beloved cried
I took her emotions, I took her voice
To her lover on the otherside
Then all of a sudden, loud noises sullen
Attacked in the passage and I dropped her message

Horns and sirens they come from towns
treading in them, I sometimes regret"
Again he said, "Oh! I am sorry Miss, I didn't do that"
"It's okay, you are blind and innocent I know that"

then he replied, "No! I said this because, my dear
That whoever you meet, make it clear
Would say the same that I had said
That I am sorry, but I didn't do that"
