The Star-Spangled Banner are Our Mangled Mannerisms

Something stirs tonight...
The feeling of providence
Lost in the boldest mark.

White light inspires.
Barriers stay strong.
Glass that won't brake
Cuts more than the surface;
Just a blur of the simplest line.

Sky wide,
Floor safe;
Just the copy of something wrong -
Guiding and getting in the way.

Promise, swear, the weakest lies.
Believe something true.

With smoke and mirrors,
Waves deliver the push
For the slightest brush,
The softest skin.

Sly smiles:
Criticism at its truest worst.
Nothing brought down;
Only a gaze.
Nothing special.

Mistakes that love hate,
Sounds that ring true,
While words compel glitches.

The ambiance of the rope realized.

This is the first act.
Welcome to the show.

We are greeted by a bright new day
Love, dreams and happiness are here to stay
With this pledge in our heart and determination
Let’s start the new day and erase all aberration
A plane made of tin cans soars in flames through the sky.
Black smoke trails its tail as it plummets to ground.
I stand.
I watch.
              unfazed.
The nose of the jet crashes to  the earth and it burst,
into tin butterflies,
which undoubtedly, to the skies they return.
                                                                               I wake.
in the same room,
in the same bed.

the same place was I, when the sun rose,
and dove into the horizon.

the same sky,
the same clouds.

the same smell of the sewage rising through the streets I trek.
the same people at the corner store that check,
for loose cigarettes, gossip, trash talk and street knowledge I bet.

I forget.
I'm confused.

What may be normal for you may differ for me,
when gang members intimidate everyone they see,
on the crowded concrete streets of Broad St,
bums ask for change for something to eat,
then run to store like ***** for cigarette.

Is this "Normal" for you?
for me, its as plain and repetitious as a scratched CD.

I wish you could borrow my soul to understand me.

My love, I have come to this point
That I don't care for what they say
But to be with you and be yours
Until forever and a day

My forever light, I am yours
My heart, my soul, my mind
I dreamed to grow old with you
It is our love, our strongest bind

I completely give myself to you
I swear, my love, this pledge is true.
All yours...

I will love you
With all my heart
With all my soul
With all I am

I am yours...

Until I die
Until my last breath
Today, forever and always
Until eternity.
our love

When it seems there's no one to stay
I'll be there to make your day

When the sun in your world doesn't shine
I'll be your light, soon you'll be fine

When in your childhood they treated you wrong
I'll help you stand to prove you are strong

When you feel that the world is dark
Always remember that there is a spark

When you feel like crying to ease the pain
I offer my shoulders to carry your bane

Yes, I'm your best friend and I truly care
This will be forever, I really swear!

I could, for your sake, take trip to the middle East
Where life is like living in the belly of beast
To preach against violence and hope they all fear it
Cause your love gives peace and with the world I could share it

I could exceed speed limits to get to you in time
Switch lanes on a one way even if it is a crime
If I get run over or caught by the police
Then it would be worth being reckless loving you like this

I could do the dishes and the whole house I shall keep
Even watch the kids; to get you extra hours of sleep
If I get a query cause I was making breakfast
At least I got the chance to make my love for you last

I could break a nose or even chop off someones head
Or just displace some bones but leave them alive instead
I shall declare enemies, that despise your person
My love shall defend you both in and out of season

I could lay down my life in your stead  if I have to
It may sound crazy but I'd do it cause I love you
Don't fear that you might loose me cause true love never dies
My love's divine and would remain however fast time flies.
Ever exceeded our limits just to show that special person how special they really are and how far you could get just to make the bond last a lifetime?

The day before was so perfect
He’s always there just to protect
He sang her song, painted her face
He left her with such tender trace

She smiled at him, she admired more
All his good traits deep to the core
She dreamed to hold, to hug, to chase
He left her with such  tender trace

The day they danced in that grand ball
She never thought that she would fall
Unto his arms, to his embrace
He left her with such tender trace

And from the day that he was gone
She cried from evening up to dawn
She missed more of their fine, sweet mace
He left her with such tender trace

But moment would come to renew
The pledge and dream would still come true
There in her heart, there is a place
He left her with such tender trace.
