-Everest

Upon the rocky Himalayas is where I reside,
Around me is all my household, each differing in height.

Out of my family members, I am the tallest,
Although I have numerous names, im known as Everest.

Now, before man was formed, we had peace of mind all the time,
But our peace ceased to be when humans learned how to climb.

Dead climbers and ******* defile us every single day,
This is getting out of hand, we have all had enough, ok?

We are sacred mountains who were never meant for climbing,
Leave us be! Humans are very stubborn its annoying!

The mountain is hard to climb, river shifted,
I have no trickle or mote of strength.
I see that now the window's bright again.
Besides the road, cloudy mist feed into blossom,
Each petal further adding one more to spring.
My sigh mourn in snow dust,
Yearning, my writing continue to spread.

I have been to the mountains where I have cried.
I climb hills not for the vista.
I climb for falling down the rabbit hole.
Then, I plummet down the icy gully.

I have drowned in bathtubs where I have smiled.
I swim in cold bathtubs not due to recklessness.
I swim to delude my presence.
Then, I hitch-hike upto the peak.

I do these things I cannot understand.
Reality slips away,
like fresh snow and water slip from my bare hands.
I climb to the mountain and fall to the bathtub.

He was a mountain.

She was the ocean.

Reaching for the stars,
Bound by his roots

Still and storm
Black and blue

She was the ocean
Beating against his rock

He was a mountain
And waves could not a mountain block

A bottomless fountain
Breaking with every motion

He was a mountain

And

She was an ocean

Oh, to live as one wishes—
Free from money, feelings, and ***** dishes.

Able to run in the fields and admire the stars,
sip tea at night and heal from your scars.

To learn, to grow, and think thoughts unabound...
To sing loudly and sadly with no one around.

To bother another with trifles of life
And forget the wonders...forget the strife.

People are wonderful, full of mystery and sorrow,
But I hate the ones who only think of tomorrow,

And cease to love the beauty in this world,
And think only of money, and drinks to be hurled,

With no rhyme or reason, no purpose at all,
Nothing to appreciate , no reason to fall.

Indifference my enemy, I can’t stand the grey...
People of no opinion, this is your warning: stay away.

This pit of jealousy has grown too deep.
I lash out at the walls but i only hurt myself in the process,
and as i sink lower, deeper;
I feel my friends stand on rising mountains.
my childhood was so sheltered i’ve grown behind everyone else in many things, and it seems everyone thinks me a toddler because of it.

in the wisps of mist
stroking the curves
of a sleeping mountain
I hear a call

husky tones
siphoned off
by a cold wind
mocking

I see you still
as a filtered moon
drifts over my lashes
quivering

like the scent of you
as we dance
skin to skin
close

Most of the brine has got to boil away
Most of the air has got to choke you
Most of June I spent in jail again
I don't mean jail, exactly
Up in the pine tree
Red squirrel looking down at me

I am losing control of the language again
I am losing control of the language again

Most of the things I used to hold onto
Most of the things I used to say to you
Most of the ways I knew around the local roads
Are disappearing daily
High in the cottonwood
You were looking down at me and you sure looked good
Hair hanging down in the leaves
Your neck tilted back to make a rainbow

I was losing control of the language again
I am losing control of the language again
