i'd like to be a small ocean every day
ebbing, flowing

with a few tumultuous tidal waves.

Instead, the dishwasher, laundry machine
washing over
every second
with routine.

the leaves fall;
my jasmine tea
scents the air

You were like a black & white movie
that I played over & over but backwards

There are many types of intelligence
It can be measured in so many ways
But I do not care what anyone says
The most important must be common sense.

As leaves are to the tree
Poetry is to me

I have ravaged nights like this,
Dreaming about the dead ones
Bleeding for sorcery,
Crying with hope,
Scars of vows,
For only they can see me now~

Who doubts they are as smart
as they really are
Are amongst the most intellegent
By far.
For they will never be as arrogant
as some
Who think they know it all, which is just
Plain dumb!
