me
Parley with me in a language I understand,
Talk with your heart and I will listen,
I will forever be there where you ask me to,
My submission is absolute and undeniable,
I will not betray your path,
I will not deviate,
You can ask me what you ask all,
You may not get the same answer,
It will be brutal, but measured in truth,
It will be loyal, but measured in words,
I will love you with all,
I will love you my child.

No matter how hard

The wind blows against bamboo,

It bends, but not breaks

When the world looks dark,

Sometimes all you have to do

Is open your eyes.

Isn't it funny,

How the smallest things on earth

Can be the strongest...

In constant motion.

The world yells, "YOU MUST PRODUCE",

My souls smirks, "look up"

Penance comes to me on the eve
Of the second coming,
Awash with promise and horizons
That have never seen the night.
I know my own name clearer
Than any punch I've ever felt;
Or slamming door where I am
Standing on the wrong side.

My name is Amelia and
I am stronger than any storm
You have ever weathered;
More powerful than a hair in
Your mouth, or smoke in your eye.
I stand before you as Atlas,
Holding up this world with the sheer
Determination of someone prepared to die.

I can see the new world through
The same eyes that used to show me
Darkness more terrifying than the day,
When light would fall into every crack,
And bounce across every word I said.
Now as I move to meet my maker,
I do so calmly, yet without caution.
I know my own name now.

my name is my mother's strength

my name is an extension of my dad's best friend

my name is a sanskrit darling

my name is a literal gift from god

my name is the key dangling around my neck*

my name is a hair tie

my name is a broken input chord

my name is a ***** pack tied around an old man's beer belly

my name is my name

my name is my name

Never nearer

The first time I really cried and felt the fear of never having you near
I remember this so clear how loving you was so easy everytime I would hold you dear
The passages of time in every single year the spring arrives and the coldness dis appears
I forgot that things appear like the growth of trees and flowers seem to bloom as I walk along in tears
I wish I could have changed that's clear but not knowing that rainbows aren't just to remind you of different colours they also follow the rain and in sunshine they just dis appear.

Walking side by side
You've been my all
In our wonderful journey
With heartbreaks and love
overcoming struggles
Laughter and flooded tears

I am no longer a caterpillar
But a butterfly
An empty void
Searching for the acceptance
Of my broken
To love and appreciate
It's dark beauty
That lies hidden from the world

I can't keep walking with you
In this mundane path of solidarity
The loneliness numbs my wings
I need to taste the air above us
I need to soar to the sun
Find a soul
Who will love my broken

I have evolved
While you remained the same
You will forever live in my heart
Hoping you find a caterpillar
Who can walk by your side
While I find a butterfly
To explore my shadows
