Shadow Mar 2020
Fires come and fires go,
Some from heaven, some below,
Wreaking havoc as they burn,
Or saving souls from depths forlorn.
Instrument of god of choice,
To whom you’ve wed for better or worse.
Eternal dimension as a course,
Gnash with wailing or rejoice.
A pawn of action in his hand,
To scorch or cleanse the forest land.
Measure of trial from the one,
Whose heart he owns as daughter or son,
Who are burned up or consumed,
A willful, waiting, choice of two.
Flames from heaven or below,
Preference of the lord you know,
To fill his purpose and design,
One is devilish and One Divine.
Daniel Feb 2020
The oversized doors made from panels of oak
From somewhere behind open heavy and slow,
for another akin
The creak of the wood as they let themselves in

Disturbing the hallowed and candlelit quiet
Turning the heads of the practicing pious
We are shook from a dream
By the rushing of wind through this place of esteem
Never at all
I'm on the
Religious ball
If prophet Simeon's
Painful message
"A sword will pierce
Your own soul!" (Luke 2:35)
That shows
The selfless sacrifice
The immaculate has
To pay
To achieve God's goal,
Fails before me
To stand tall.

For the sagacious
Suffice a word
The immaculate
Herself said
"Great things untold
Things manifold
Had done to me
The Lord
My Son
and my God.” (lk 1:49b)

Take note
When we pray
Excepting her
Is a fault!

On the cross
Before He depart
"She is your mother
And you her children!"
Was what
Jesus wanted to impart.
(John 19:26–27:)

Breathe in. Breathe out.
Expand. Contract.
Awaken perennial spirit.

The we. The I.
Somewhere between the eyes.
Wake up from your slumber,
And remember:
The self and the other.

there was once an ordinary man named bobby
who felt like he's three in one body
when he is asleep he feel
like a spirit with holy soul
and yet in real flesh he is no clergy.
© A B Faniki 1/02/2020 salvation is for all not just for the poius religious one we could draw strenght from out spirit and soul to make it possible for salvation to reach us.

You
You are my sunshine during the cloudy days
you are holy to my soul
You are vast like a black hole
You're like coal to ignite my inner soul
Stole my heart from my Cage
I'm like your sage in every age

Hush.
I used to think you were Godly.
I used to think you were velvet.
I used to think you were perfect.
Shh.
You’re nothing now.
Silence.
You’re pathetic now.
You’re only a feeble boy playing God.
You’re only a quaint thing pretending to be holy.

I used to worship you.
I used to pray to you.

But now you pray to me.
“Oh poetess God.”
Now you worship me.
“Oh sweet Holy One.”
And don’t you dare forget it.

I used to think
You were so blessed
Now I think
I was obsessed

But I'm not anymore
I've opened my eyes
Looking at you now
You're just another guy
Part one. Don't really like it but oh well.
