Soon we'll meet,
Soon everyone will know,
The world we'll conquer will the first one to bow,
The boundaries that keep us apart will break,
Our love will show them their place,
They'll keep the hatred but will know us as brave.
We didn't want to be in your country
In this first place,
You dragged us to your country.
On our backs we built the future.
You called us different nasty names,
Reduced us to animals
Despite all the degradation
We made it still.
Shame on you.
It's painful being you right now.
The more you make us feel small
The bigger we are, we define ourselves.
We are real deal, we are love
Of course yes, we are BLACKS

Just because I'm different
They give harsh criticism
They're always rough
But they've not had enough

Closed minded people
Their faces showing disgust
Making me live in fear
Without getting things clear

They know it hurts
But they won't stop
They just don't care
So I shouldn't either

No matter what they give
I shouldn't mind their judgment
I shouldn't hold resentment
Because I have to survive

Hatred makes you stronger
What is there to stop you when care is no longer
Hatred makes you unhappy
Nothing that can't be solved with a lil therapy
Hatred makes you run
Fell free, go far ,for reasons to turn back are none
Hatred makes you free
Noone can hold you back not even with a dramatic plea
Hatred makes you stronger
They set us so carelessly upon the trees;
despite our wails, screams, and pleas, we
become dying fruit for the fleas.
Institutionalized and criminalized, we live a life of fear.
They sneer, jeer at the sight of us at life’s rear.
Our plight against contempt makes for a militant man
as we just try to be as real as we can.
To them, our efforts are never enough,
for them, our pain is never enough.
We strive for equality, liberty, happiness, and life.
In turn, we receive hatred, anger, and strife.
Murdered and ***** and torn next to our loved ones.
In response, we give a passion greater than the Sun’s.
All of our lives, we have had to fight.
Striking back against their wrath, destroying their blight.

They set us so wrongly upon their boat;
after we are spent, we are set to float.
I wonder about real life,
“What does it feel like?”
Torment should not be equal to pigment,
and there is nothing to warrant such abhorrent torrents.
We are not equal and never have been the same.
When we speak out, we are silenced; liberty too tamed.
They set us so harshly upon the pyre;
the extermination of desire,
the death of liberty as a killing fire.
August  29, 2017: We are being stabbed but not by the kings of the Earth. Now it’s ****** from reprehensible opportunists that want all the rhythm and none of the blues.
Further, further we bend
Into an abyss of separation
Were we all meet at the end
Fighting against all kinds of demons
Against, against, exausted

Like toddlers, we play
Heroes and villains
But like grown ups, we ****

Their hatred, so sad
Our eyes, oh, so mad
Convictions turn to questions
Questions only you can answer

It's a chest game
And [they] want us to fight
But I refuse to make another enemy
I refuse to live another lie
Love doesn't say "excuse me"
Love finds a tiny crack
Between the walls of hatred
And then
Oh...
Then love gets in.

Never knew what the night would bring
When I'd sink to the bottom of everything
As it slowly cracked my mind to pieces
Then all these urges crept in the creases
Causing yet another careless bloodstain
Because I could only think about the pain
Nothing feels quite the same and it's horrifying
The world is broken.
Not just cracked,
Like a chip out of a shot glass,
Like a scratch on a bathroom mirror-
It's shattered-
tearing itself apart,
Succumbing to chaos and greed
Like they were the only things we had to choose between.
The violence and anger that's erupting-
It's in schools
On the streets
In our churches
In our homes-
Consuming and replacing
The hope we might have had for peace
And a future;
For anything more than we ever wished we could be.
Who stole our dreams,
And made us think this is what we're destined to be?
Who forced these lies down our throats
Until we gave up and allowed our hearts to be stolen,
Our eyes to be blinded?
Or did we sell our souls as commodity,
Bargaining away what made us yearn to live;
Piecing out parcels of ourselves and our
World
For just one more minute of time
That we think we are owed?
Not to seem crazy,
But what if the answer lay in the depths of our souls,
Where we never look,
For fear that weve been wrong all along?
What if the answer was compassion,
and solidarity-
An irrational belief that the world can be healed,
Instead of brought to its knees?
And what if our anger could be used to progress,
By living for happiness,
By practicing kindness and love?
I know, I know-
It sounds-
  Outdated-
      Old news-
         Last year's hippie tripe;
But what if your refusal
Is because you already dont care?
What if not trying is what broke things in the first place,
And your apathy is the poison you feed yourself daily?
The world is sad,
and broken;
But then...
maybe we are too.
