she graced our lives
sowing joyful memories
we never forget

now she's an angel
soothing our saddened hearts
with little fond tales

....Fleeting pleasures hunt me to destroy the contentment I have built thus far.

Why can’t I write?
Like I once did before,
Tragedy and remedy.
Wrapped up simply yet in a hoard,
What bounding breaks of wording.
Make truth simply desired not abhorred,
When words of life are ever fleeting.
A desire of wanting the same but more.

sometimes I wish,
i could be up in the clouds
looking down on my friends
watching the crowds.

sometimes I wish,
i could know what it's like
to be in a world
that's not full of spite.

so that's why I wish,
i was up in the clouds
looking down on my friends
watching the crowds.

so that's why I wish,
i could just be me
in a field of cotton white
with the feeling of being free.

sometimes I wish,
life was more fleeting
no more sadness
just a happy greeting.

and lastly I wish,
that fate will go my way
just so that i can smile
and feel like thriving everyday.
sorry i'm not good at rhyming all that much

He was as bright as the sparks
dancing above the flames,
He burnt amidst the darkness,
Singeing those who were caught
In a trance,
He was mesmerising and magical,
Exciting and ephemeral.

I daren’t breathe, or,
I could ***** out his light.

you lived on through the words ,
and I through the music ,
both existing on pages ,
never quite in sync ,
your sigh could turn a few pages , graceful and light ,
mine could sink a ship somewhere off the Pacific ,
my words looked out of place on the pages ,
yours curved with that sense of heaven ,
my book lies open , unused , upon a desk somewhere ,
while you furiously scribble in yours .

Rose was just a kid,
Fleeting the war,
At just the age of four.
Split up by her parents,
Where she swam to shore,
Where they hoped for her to have a better life.
But than she was sent back home,
To where it all began.
A pain,she never felt before,
It hurt so bad she couldn’t breathe no more.

So why,why the fighting?
Please end the wars right now!
To many people hurt,
Stop the suffering now.
So why,why the fighting?
Please end the wars right now!
Before someone else dies.

We are told it doesn’t matter,
where we come from,
Or what we believe in.
We all live in the in the same word,
We are all made the same,
And we all make mistakes.
The only difference is:
You are you,
And I am me.
We might not look alike,
But we still feel the same ways as you and me.

So why,why the fighting?
Please end the wars right now!
To many people hurt,
Stop the suffering now.
So why,why the fighting?
Please end the wars right now!
Before someone else dies.

No one deserves to suffer,
No one deserves to be sent back to a war zone,
No one deserves to be refused.

(Personal opinion,we won’t all share the same)

Joy
Joy is nothing but a fleeting moment.
Alike solar flares, it bursts with power,
then burns with the blinding blaze of hope.
It’s a light which diverts our attention
but then ceases after we’ve been misled.
It gives us a deceiving veil for reality,
a version full of languidly rotting bliss.
And just when we’re about to get used to
this fake, transient “truth” we cling to,
that’s when the torch in our fragile hands
suddenly decides to take its last breath.

We find ourselves in the same void again,
feeling empty and lost, without an aim.
We then desperately start seeking fuel
so that our fire of hope would burn anew.
We grasp everything that comes along,
we just want a source of hope to go on.
We just need a sense of balance in life,
something to make us believe we are fine.
And when we’re in growing utter despair,
our obscuring naivety won’t lead us anywhere.
