clearing up trails
taking down signs
why are you making me get lost for you
what's this pleasure you find in me losing myself to find you

to know you

that parts of me have to be left behind
what is this you hide that all of me is not required to see

to recognise

in a crowd of figures
doing the same thing
I  think  you think you got me...

Take me far away
From here
From people
From our country

Take me far, far away
From our society
From this mad world
From everything I hate

- Finally she took me far away from here.
- Who's that ?
- The liberty.

i remember it was five am
and sat on the floor tiny
next to your bag
bursting huge
to make better use of space
you slowly placed items
inside your shoes
"i feel like a criminal"

Always there she is,
Like the color of an evergreen tree.
Always uplifting she will be
When I am down.

Always the best advice she can muster
When she has not a clue herself.
Always I will be her priority
Even if she has ten other things on her plate.

Her long yellow hair, and bright blue eyes.
Her tomboy looks and unproportional nose.

She lives so far away, yet she is still right beside me.
Late night phone calls hours long,
Consisting of boy drama and family problems
And of remembering summer nights of laughter.

We don’t talk nor see each other everyday,
But she is my best friend and I am hers
And I will never take her for granted
Because she has me and I got her.

In contrary of the distance we take.
Goodbyes are just as hard to make.

I wish the cold will stay away from our hearts.
It’s our toughest decision we’ve made - being apart.

I give to you a piece of my soul for you to hold.
You give yours, I cherish like gold.

Three years is a short time away from each other,
Yet as long as our hearts are entwine together
Our love is as sweet as forever.

"does long distance relationship really last? I think it does for some people, but it is not for everyone. I guess it really depends how stretchable your love is..." ~ pax

it was a prompt for my little book jiffy's love.
I reached for you in the night,
but you weren't there,
just the memory of the shape of you,
and the imaginary tickle of your hair.

Your touch imprinted on me,
the warmth of your hands
a comfort to my aching skin,
I wanted you there to touch me from within.

I stretched for you to hold me,
and pull, pull in tight,
but instead I grabbed my pillow,
but the feel, it's not right.

I smelt you,
it drifted over my dreams,
I felt your hands,
slipping off my seams.

I thought you were near,
here in my bed,
but when I woke you weren't there,
and darling, the tears, how they shed.
