Through a torn visage, I see the flame
One torch, by day, reflects ages hence
That spark, they say, can't be to blame
But many, still, keeps shoulders tense.

Man, sincerely, calls for homeland
But flame to mirror rends reflection bent
When man, in jest, sets sparks to woodland
The forest, torn, its visage now rent.

she gave them life and love,
she gave them sustenance and shelter.

and they,
in return,
scribbled on the walls of her home
in permanent marker.

they in return,
discarded their toys in every room,
never to be remembered.

they in return,
spilt red paint on the white carpeting,
only to say oops.

so she hurried to rescue the home,
the home that had been so peaceful before they could walk,

she painted the walls,
she picked up the toys,
she scrubbed the floors.

but then the toddlers did it again,
and again,
and again.

the mother finally collapsed into a chair,
exhausted and dismayed.

if only they would learn, she thought
that they were not the only ones who lived in this home

Ah, ‘rocks’ of the sea
   Thou rise high!
   Blue art thou,
   So is the sky.
   Rise and sink,
   Is all you do.
   Blue as ink,
   Lovely blue.

Ah, thou ‘white horses’,
   Now I see thee!
   Written about by poets
   Over a century.
   Rush forward together
   As in war.
   Rise again, my brothers,
   When you fall.

Ah, thou dazzling 'stars’,
   In the waters blue.
   My eyes you dazzle,
   With the help of who?
   Like silver you shine,
   As well as gold.
   When the weather’s fine,
   ‘Stars’ I behold!

Ah, thou wide blue sea,
   Thou possess all these;
   King of Military,
   Are you not pleased?

I drive to the early coffee shop
and order my decaf tea
I don't drink caffeine you see
as my body is a temple
and needs its insides
kept pristine

my cup bears my name with pride
and I slide to the side bar
just a drop of milk
not too much
and skimmed
of course
then stir my conscience
and avoid the cake
I take my takeaway
to my MPV
which has plenty of room
just for me

I start up the engine
to enjoy the air conditioning
sit and start up my thinking
til I'm a venti ready to drive away
more awake and ready
to start a fresh new day

there's barely a hint
of my early bleary eyed squint
and I sing
blissfully oblivious
of my oversized
first world
footprint
We have to change our priorities.

When the starry host shine on high
Like silver glist’ning in the sky,
How exhilaration does flow
Thro’ my veins like the chilly snow!
These soldiers that guard the darkness,
That steal from thieves their happiness,
That spy on lovers’ secrecy
And drift them more to ecstasy,
Will dim away when dawn draws nigh
Without a breath, nor moan, nor sigh.

the skies limit
above the horizon
you don’t know
what’s going on
unpredictable things
may happen in one snap of your finger.

plants are persuading,
while the sea is moving forward,
people are busy occupying their spaces,
the trees are growing but sooner is dying,
the land that we stood, right in front of us
is creeping to be dried.

just as what we use for,
& over used by the damage that we cause
actions we carelessly don’t mind at all
because it’s none of our business to care, why not?

does
fog spread across the wild forest
screaming and waning
it’s an alarm to be warn
something is not good
something that we should protect and save
but is it too late?
to take things out and do
something about it?
It’s devastated to see people who were affected by the typhoon and earthquake here in Japan though luckily my place is safe and I think that it is not that Japan that were affected but including some other countries. Please be mindful for our actions it truly matters! But right now let’s just pray and ask God for his protection and guidance for each one of us here.
If we learn to take care of our planet Earth then maybe we can still live life with a great purpose to one another.

I am a little scallop,
Bobbing slowly to and fro.
Year by year bigger and bigger
I hope to grow and grow.

I am only tiny;
Give me a little break.
Hear my little ditty…
Help me! Go for a steak.

I am a little scallop,
Awake in my cosy bed
With my brothers and sisters.
I am a wee bit afraid.

I wish not to be eaten;
I must quickly speed away.
I just will not be beaten;
I will live another day!

Life is just a winner’s game;
I must move fast as I can.
‘Survivor’ being my name,
I will not be caught by man!

an arid earth can suffer to gag
through the suffocation of its tenants,
flailing with torrential—cataclysmic—seismic
limbs at the cold-hand smothering by
a race in apathy.

though, let's not just yet, not yet
pull the bullets from our guns.
